After not receiving my tickets within a couple weeks of purchasing and my order saying it was processed I read all the reviews so I started to panic. A couple things to be aware of. My tickets were electronic transfer meaning exactly that. I've been to over 250 concerts and never experienced that before. They were not printable but on my phone which had me nervous. This is something that is common today but didn't realize this beforehand. Then my tix didn't arrive until 5 pm the night before the show. I did get my tix and they did work! They fulfilled their end of the deal.

Bought tickets to a Bob Seger Show

Bought tickets to a Bob Seger Show. Ticket Magic sent me an email confirming the show was cancelled. They refuse a refund as their rep on the phone says the show is only postponed. Use this company at your own risk. Should have stayed with Stub Hub :(

David,

The sellers that list tickets on our site are required to issue you a refund if:

They do not deliver your tickets to you.

They deliver invalid tickets and you are denied entry.

The show is registered as cancelled.

If the show is postponed, the seller is not required to issue a refund per the policy, however, if you reach out to your individual seller, they may be willing to refund you for your purchase. The reason they are not required with postponed shows, is because the tickets will still be valid for the new show date, once it is rescheduled.

Your ticket seller information should have been included in your confirmation email, but if it wasn’t or you have trouble finding that info, call our sales support at (844) 425-4548, and give them your order number and explain your situation and that you’re needing to know who your seller was and they should be able to give you that information. You can also reach our sales support at support@ticketmagic.com

This company is awful

This company is awful! I spent $37 per ticket for two tickets which is $74. Then I spent another $30 in to service charges and one delivery fee. The delivery fee was simply for me to print out my own ticket on my own computer. Absolutely ridiculous! I thought this was my only option to buy tickets and then two days later my wife finds tickets in the same section through a different vendor. She spent $30 less. When I called to talk to an associate and

Ken,

We are sorry you were unhappy with your purchase through our secondary ticket marketplace, but we appreciate your honest review.

Since we are a marketplace, we host the website for sellers to list tickets and buyers to purchase on a secure platform. Sellers typically price their tickets based on supply and demand, then we charge a % fee based on the price of those tickets. The fees we charge are to cover the costs of running the website, employees to keep the site going and updated, to pay for the support staff that responds to emails and phone calls, and any other expenses that are involved in running the secure website and service.

That being said, there will be many times where the tickets are priced below face value, and even after service fees, they may be cheaper with one of the sellers on the site. Other times, they may be much higher, but the pricing depends on the individual sellers, as we do not price any tickets listed on our site.

We hope we have helped explain our business to you.

I feel completely ripped off

I feel completely ripped off. Bought Foo Fighter tickets on their site because the address and look of it appeared to be an official Foo Fighter site. As you check out fees go way up but you feel pressured to buy or lose the seats. Still don’t have my tickets and called them to ask about it. They say “sorry we are just a website and can’t give you a refund because you accepted the terms and conditions from us when you clicked buy”. Do yourself a favor and avoid these scam artists at all costs.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with your purchase through our secondary marketplace site.

We do not set the price of tickets that are sold on our site. We are not the sellers, we simply host the platform and website for sellers to list their tickets and for buyers to purchase their tickets through a secure site. This is why we have a disclaimer on our site that states tickets may be above or below face value.

When you placed your order, your individual ticket seller information should have been included in your confirmation email. The seller is the one that decides on the pricing of the tickets you purchased.

This response may seem generic, but we are trying to improve our reputation by better explaining what our role is in the secondary marketplace ticket business, because many people simply do not realize that we are only the host for the sellers and play no role in the pricing of tickets. We are like any other website that you can list products on to sell. The sellers are either individuals, like yourself, that ordered tickets and later discovered they cannot attend the show, or they are ticket brokers.

While your tickets may have been above face value, many times tickets will be sold under face value. Most sellers choose their pricing based on supply and demand.

We hope this explanation has helped clear up any confusion regarding who you placed you’re purchase with, and if you have any more questions feel free to reach out to our sales support staff at support@ticketmagic.com or by phone at (844) 425-4548

Brad,

If the show you purchased tickets to was cancelled, you should receive a refund.

However, if it was postponed, your tickets will still work to get you into the show.

But if you would like to contact your individual seller to see if they would be willing to give you a refund for a postponed show, your seller information should be included in your confirmation email when you placed your order. If you can not locate it, have your order number ready and call our support staff at (844) 425-4548 or by email at support@ticketmagic.com

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS AND PITTBULL 10/3/17

On September 9,2017, I purchased 2 Tickets for Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull. Order was processed and confirmed immediately. However, I never received tickets, so I called about 2 weeks ago, spoke with a representative for Ticketmagic, who confirmed my order and said that the tickets would be available for print on 10/2/17, mind you one day before the event, that I'm driving 6 hours to attend, with a Hotel Reservation of over $400.00. So on October 2nd at 4:00 p.m., I receive an email from PayPal stating that my purchase was canceled and being refunded. Then another email follows, saying that Ticketmagic was selling tickets for an evening/night out with Janice Joplin and was never had/authorized to sell tickets to Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull. Oh let me preface, I did receive an additional $25.00, I guess to offset my inconvenience and hotel room loss.

I will be posting this to social media as well. Never ever use this company for tickets, this has cost me less the $25.00. And to that I say Fraudulent online Service.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY, do not trust!

I bought GA tickets for an Arcade Fire Concert months in advance from this company. My girlfriend and I spent 277 dollars on the tickets, 200 dollars on a hotel room and 50 dollars on parking. Once we got to the venue our tickets were scanned and we were sent to will call. At will call we were notified that the tickets were in fact fake and photoshopped to look like real tickets. So far the process of being refunded has been tedious and now that I have gotten together all the information TicketMagic asked me to provide, such as scan reports from TD Garden (who responded within a day) the company has gone quiet and will not respond to my messages. DO NOT BE FOOLED. This company is fraudulent and upcharges huge amounts right before checkout with numerous hidden and completely scammed fees.

I bought two tickets to the sold out …

I bought two tickets to the sold out Tom Petty concert in Sacramento. I was nervous about the reviews, which I read after buying the tickets. I received the email that my tickets were ready to print within minutes of purchasing them. Yes they had someone else's name on them, they're being resold! We had no problem, even when Tom Petty canceled because he was sick I got an email from Ticket Magic informing me I could get a refund bc the concert was canceled! Tom Petty rescheduled and we went to the concert and it was great!! BTW it doesn't matter who's name is on a concert ticket, the bar code is scanned at the door, they dont have time to look at names on a ticket.

Fraudulent company

My daughter bought foo fighters tickets to an upcoming concert in Eugene Oregon. The tickets were emailed but with someone else's name on the tickets. We contacted ticket master and they confirmed that the tickets were fraudulent. We have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. Now Visa is fighting us saying that the purchase is legitimate. Absolute nightmare. This is a fradulent company.

Rayna,

We are sorry that you are unhappy with your purchase through our secondary marketplace site.

This response may seem generic, but we are trying to improve our reputation by better explaining what our role is in the secondary marketplace ticket business, because many people simply do not realize that we are only the host for the sellers and play no role in the pricing of tickets or their delivery. We are like any other website that you can list products on to sell. The sellers are either individuals, like yourself, that ordered tickets and later discovered they cannot attend the show, or they are ticket brokers. So when you receive tickets through our site, many times they were originally purchased by an individual, and the original purchasers name will be listed on the tickets. This does not make the tickets fraudulent nor invalid for entry, as the name doesn’t matter. If your boss purchased tickets as a gift for employees, they would have his or her name on them, but the employees could still use them. It’s the same with purchasing them on a secondary marketplace. Many people are confused when they see another name on the tickets, but that plays no role in their validity, and since tickets cannot be altered, your seller is unable to legally put your name on them. That WOULD cause them to be considered invalid, unfortunately.

We hope this explanation has helped clear up any confusion regarding names on tickets, and if you have any more questions feel free to reach out to our sales support staff at support@ticketmagic.com or by phone at (844) 425-4548

However, in your case, if the venue denied you entry, you are guaranteed a refund. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I had ordered three tickets to a concert, and I added, for an additional fee to have the tickets sent via standard mail. As they are a gift and I have no printer to print them. I recieved an email notification that my tickets I paid to have sent, were available for download. Confused by this, I e-mailed the company multiple times to ask why this was so. With no response, I then contacted ticket magic by telephone. Not only did this problem NOT get solved, but I only recieved HALF the additional fee for the tickets I paid to have sent-and was told to go to the library to pay additional money to print them there!!! WOW-I PAID OVER 700 dollars for these tickets and their rediculous service fees for what... ABSOLUTLY UNEXCEPTIONABLE!!!
