Summary:
1. Tickbox terminated a contract via email and refused to refund client.
2. Tickbox then impersonated a solicitor sending an email to the client asking for personal details of reviewers highlighting the lack of experience and refund after cancelling the contact. (Emails can be provided to prove this)
3. Tickbox is holding a domain from the client after repeated requests to transfer even though the domain is legally owned by the client.
4. Tickbox lied to the courts about keep their test page online when it was offline. (Dated screenshots to show this) They brought it online for the case then took it offline just after. (Dated screenshot for evidence)

Hopefully emails will follow and be made public to show how unprofessional tickbox has been. I cannot name the person in question, but there is an individual in this company who has no problem lying and deceiving people, manipulating evidence by not including emails.

Edit: Tickbox Marketing is breaking Google TOS by creating a new business to avoid negative reviews.

If you are looking for a responsive website optimised for CRO I do not recommend Tick Box marketing.

A search of google for websites designed by tickbox marketing shows that their team does not have a current understanding for customer flow and CRO and miss the fundamentals.

I am disappointed I have to leave this review, but as a business owner and seeing how Tickbox has handled constructive feedback of another clients prebuilt Wordpress themes other businesses should be made aware.

Edit: To add to this review, I have been informed that Tickbox is attempting to bully the client and other reviewers into removing their reviews otherwise they will take legal action.

If a review is based on fact, then it is not deformation.

After reading the emails, I think they should be made public.

Edit2: Tickbox continue to bully one of their clients and is now holding their domain which is legally registered to the client. I did not think this company could get any worse.

Edit3: I will not be removing this review as it is factual and can be backed up by evidence. Tickbox lied to the courts about removing the test website just to make it available for a court hearing and then to take it down minutes after the case. This is backed up with dated screenshots. Which can be provided if needed.

Please stay clear of Tickbox

Please stay clear of Tickbox.

If you desire a high quality responsive website for your business I do not recommend using Tickbox.

Tickbox are unable to take constructive criticism and have acted in an extremely unprofessional manner.

After not being completely satisfied with the service delivery we gave constructive feedback to try and resolve issues.

Shockingly our feedback was met with extreme resistance and the customer service agent took the feedback very personally.

Due to the extremely unprofessional customer service skills we have decided to take our needs elsewhere.

Tickbox initially offered us a refund however they are now refusing to honour their promise.

Luckily due to Tickbox being consistently unprofessional we haven’t signed a contract and will be taking legal action to resolve this issue.

Overall we feel very disappointed and hurt by the actions of this company. We do not recommend Tickbox.

(We are happy to edit and resolve the review when/if our full refund has been processed)
