I hate to write a bad review on this company as I really love there boots. However I feel as if there quality is slipping. I have two boots, one that I have had for 7 months and only worn a handful... See more

I discovered these sneakers and was immediately captivated — the black matte design is genuinely beautiful, and I was convinced I had found my definitive go-to brand. So convinced, in fact, that I went on to purchase a second pair without a second thought.
What followed was a slow and dispiriting disillusionment.
Despite wearing them sparingly — almost reverentially, such was my desire to keep them in pristine condition — the soles deteriorated at a rate I can only describe as alarming. Holes appeared. The heel wore through. On a pair I had babied. At £130.
When I raised the issue with customer service, I received what I can only describe as a masterclass in polite deflection. After two rounds of correspondence and an internal product team review, the verdict was: gait. My gait, apparently, is to blame. The resolution offered? A cobbler.
The design is exceptional. The quality is not. And for a premium price tag, that gap is unforgivable. Save your money — and your soles — for a brand that stands behind what it sells.
Problems i noticed immediately.
1: NO FITTING GUIDE! - How hard is it to make a proper chart showing your foot width and length and then matching that to the correct fit boot. (So trying to choose the correct boots and size was nearly impossible)
2: Their customer service is definitely not AI, because Ai would at least pretend to know the answer to basic questions rather than having now idea.
I am questioning whether i accidentally got the support for some other company.
Problems i noticed after i got the boots:
1: I did eventually choose a size based on a best guess given about 20 minutes of research. (And I chose 1 size too big to compensate for the potential of it being undersized > which can be fixed with thicker socks)
And they did not fit...(And i remind you that i went to huge trouble of looking up conversion charts, talking to customer service, buying a size too big etc all to get a good fitting boot)
2: The boots are extremely poorly designed in terms of fit. They are extremely long with a point. So unless your big-toe bends 45 degrees to the left and your other toes point 45 degrees to the right, then they will be extremely tight around the centre of the foot, and roomy to the point of absurdity at the front of your foot. (The shoes are so tight around the middle that i can only get my foot into the boot when i take off my socks) (And remember i bought this in a size 1 size too big!) And yet it is so elongated at the toe that there is 3.5cm distance between my toe and end of boot)
*YES i acknowledge that maybe these are fitted for people with thinner feet... and that's why i ordered this IN the "wide" size! *And remember there is NO objective sizing guide, all they tell you about sizing is "Buy this in a size 1 size smaller than your sneakers"
(A: I am buying $600 boots. Do you really think i am the type of guy who even owns sneakers?
B: How do you know the-fit of my "sneakers"?
3: I bought these for long term high quality wear. This is obviously impossible with such a poorly designed fit. My foot started to ache after 5 mins due to it compressing the bones in my foot. The idea of comfortably wearing these all day is laughable.
4: The leather on these boots creased the FIRST time i flexed them to get my foot inside them.
the FIRST time. And i did not bend them all the way back, for fear i could never return them.
I am not claiming they are made from plastic layered on top of "REAL LEATHER"
But what i will say is that: "They crease like plastic coated leather"
5: Attention to detail is poor (Loose threads, sizing stamp already faded before even being worn, no sealant whatsoever placed on the welt thread/holes (So i am assuming these will leak like a sieve in the rain)
Thursday keep using words like "made with integrity" and other phrases they read from the creative writing course they took while studying art-history. But then mention NOWHERE on their website their boots are made in mexico.
And yes i didn't need to read the label to work out the country of origin, i could smell it.
Basically to summarise, Thursday boots are what you would get if you hired your art student friend to model you some boots in payment for helping him move his costume-box up the stairs.
Then paid minimum waged employees to produce the boots using the cheapest leather legally permitted in the state of California to be called "leather"
Ordered few boots from them and they look awesome. The latest pair I ordered came a bit too wide, and they offered to send a completely new one pair without me even having to return the ones that are too wide.

I’m extremely disappointed with Thursday Boot Company customer service.
DHL is currently holding a package worth nearly $2000 “hostage” unless I create an account, and Thursday Boots has completely refused to help resolve the situation or take any responsibility despite being the seller and shipper of the order.
I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I simply asked for assistance dealing with the carrier or for alternative solutions, and instead got passed around with essentially zero accountability. Once they had my money, customer support became “not our problem.”
For a company that markets itself as premium and customer-focused, this experience has been the opposite. Expensive order, stressful delivery issue, no ownership, no meaningful support.
Would not feel comfortable ordering internationally from them again.

I feel a little mean with 1 star on the actual product. I bought a pair of dress penny loafers which were absolutely beautiful. However, the fit was incredibly narrow and they weren’t the shoe for me. As a UK buyer, it ended up costing me £45 to return the shoes to the US, this was so expensive due to taxes and tariffs in place due to the US government. I sucked that up as there seemed very little other option. After approximately 5 weeks I still had no refund. After several enquiries I was refunded. Not the amount I paid though. This is allegedly because of exchange rates. So ultimately I have ended up paying just less than £70 for absolutely nothing. No product. No shoes. Nothing. My top piece of advice if buying from the UK, other than simply don’t, is be 100% sure you will not have to return the product as it will cost you.

I bought there white sneakers after watching Youtube videos about how I'm suppose to dress at my age. They are nice and don't look terrible after wearing, but don't wear for more than 2 hours or your feet will kill you!

I ordered a Racer jacket from Thursday Boot company, and it arrived when I was out of town. My wife noticed that the jacket had a strong chemical smell and hung it in our garage. On arriving home, I experienced the smell, which was extremely strong, and started the process for returning the coat, telling the helpful contact person that this smell defect was intolerable. A month later, our garage still has the smell, and I’m thinking of taking my car (which sat in garage with windows down while I was away) to a detailer to get rid of the smell that it acquired. I told the company of these ongoing problems and asked for an explanation and information about possible health risks, but none was forthcoming. I would suggest that anyone thinking of ordering a jacket from them think twice before doing so.

Bought the low top leather shoes had issue with the sizing. They are a true to size if you are in between sizing choose what you normally wear they aren’t lying about that I messed up and gambled on the 1/2 up. Had to do a return. Angie from thursdays was quick to email be back to help me on track with everything any questions I had for her she was there to help out. Good quality / good customer service.

Absolutely huge mistake ordering trainers to be shipped to the UK. Online prices were in GBP but the sizes were still US, which wasn’t clear. I was ordered a pair and they were too small. The return cost 45% of the product cost as they don’t fully refund to the UK AND you have to pay postage. It wasn’t clear to me and I’m going to have to chalk this up as one of life’s experiences.

Don’t buy if you are an international customer
I ordered the wrong size (UK) and so they agreed to send me a pre-paid label to return them for an exchange. Customer service got it wrong and refunded me instead, charging me £12.50 for the return so it wasn’t pre-paid at all and when I queried this as an exchange had been agreed they said I would have to pay £24 for another pair to be sent.
Rediculous, wish I’d never bothered with this company.

My President "Rugged and Resilient" boots are not that Rugged and Resilient. I've owned them for a month or so, and I must have kicked a curb or the top of a step, something that could have happened on any given day. The tip of my rubber sole separated from the boot and after a few more days of use, the rubber then torn down to the threads holding the sole on to the boot. The rugged and resilent boot are now damaged from me walking into my office a few times. They look horrible with a chunk of the rubber sole missing from the front. I'm hoping the superglue repair that I performed will last so I can get my money's worth out of this pair.

I was hesitant to buy my Captain StormKing boots online. I'm very much a brick and mortar guy when it comes to clothing and footwear. See, touch, try on, and if comfortable, purchase.
But I read the reviews and took a chance.
The boots are great! Extremely well made; Thursday Boots could charge a lot more than they do. The break-in period was very short and they are very comfortable.
I highly recommend. The boots are exactly as advertised!

I had the most incredible customer service experience with Kathleen from Thursday. She responded quickly, helped me with a doggie chewed shoe situation and went above and beyond to help me out. The loafers themselves were of such great quality, and I'm so pleased that their staff are awesome as well.

Both the Dutchess boots and the women's sneakers were extremely narrow. Made the mistake of ordering from Canada and returns are not free. Paid $90 in shipping and duties to return.

Update... the final pair of the second pair of boots arrived yesterday. As is usual for leather the boots fit snug and i expect they will stretch to form to fit. I am done. That said. The boots once again are not consistent left boot is stiched crooked. I am keeping them, as i am over the whole process. Thursday boots needs to 1. Work on their quality control. 2. Needs to provide an accurate size chart with which to order from not a " if you normally wear "x" size and sonetimes wear smaller size up or down" this is nonsense. Just provide an accurate chart for foot measurement which has been an industry standard FOREVER! I wish i could post pictures here, to prove my experience.
1st order placed on March 24th, 2026. In total ordered 2 pair of boots cost over 400$. I made sure to get assistance with sizing as it seemed that the company has difficulty with consistency. As of yesterday I am on the 5th shipment a month later. Boots are still wrong. No resolution and being ignored by customer service. There is no phone number to contact for this company it just refers to email when you call it . They will get back to you at their Leisure if they get back to you at all usually taking several days . This process has been incredibly difficult, and the most recent shipment I received yesterday has only added to my disappointment.
The boots arrived in a used box with no paperwork or protective packaging. Furthermore, the boots are significantly oversized and do not appear to measure the size 8.5 that I ordered. Despite my previous attempts to contact customer service, I have yet to receive a response.
I feel that both my time and money have been wasted.

I ordered a pair of Renegade shoes from Thursday's following their UK sizing guide. The shoes were small, so I had to return them. I followed their returns policy and paid for the shoes to be returned to them by DPS. This process cost £79. The shoes were returned to me as customs were expecting taxes to be paid. I finally got Thursdays to pay for the shipping. I had to chase them for my refund, which I did numerous times. When I finally received my refund Thursdays deducted £40 in taxes. This experience cost me a total of £110. The shoes were £159. LESSON LEARNT: DO NOT ORDER SHOES FROM THURSDAY IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK

Absolute dirt crap cheap leather. Lightweight rubbish. £375 for a jacket that I wouldn’t even pay £75 for. Untop of that I had to pay for returns so I’m like £100 down.
Will never buy from them again.
Avoid at all costs
They’re paying YouTubers to promote their rubbish jackets and I got fooled

If you research the sizing of Thursday boots and are happy ordering from the US then these are fantastic! Have a pair of Diplomats and Captains now and I love them, once broken in after a week or so, they are super comfy and supportive whilst being tough and rugged. Love them.

Do NOT purchase if you're in the UK. The boots run very small. I purchased a size 39, far too small. To send back I wrote to the company and they sent me a duty paid form, so I should have been exempt from US duties.
I was refunded £96.. when I paid £150 for the shoes.
This company should not be selling to the UK unless they have a proper warehouse in the UK or it's explained in detail in their checkout area.
You've been warned.

I will never buy from this company ever again because the return policy is absolutely ridiculous in the sense of
1.you pay to return to US ($50) didn’t know that (they sent the wrong size )
2.it takes up to 14 days for them to acknowledge your return.
3.then they very slowly have to inspect and then restock the return( approx another 14 business days)
4. Then they will only process a refund after ANOTHER 15 business days !!!!
It’s draconian and unnecessary and so unfair for the customer, it’s disgusting customer support as they just placate you with AI bot chat !
Please DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHAM COMPANY 🔴❌
