Garbage! Pure trash!

2TB for 40$ and absolutely useless
Uploaded files can't be opened - I get "Whoops, looks like something went wrong."
No tech support (bot)
Roadmap expired on 2019 - nothing done since then except selling air for 60$.
Avoid at all costs if you don't want to loose your data

All the folder contents of every folder in my drive are missing. I see all the contents, that is, every folder. Try to see the image? The "broken image icon" is all. In every folder.
The only response I can get from Thunderdrive is this:
Whoops, looks like something went wrong.

Upload, check, preview, "Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

SCAM. BEWARE. REPORT THIS TO AUTHORITIES.

i can't tell for sure if it's scam, but for sure they don't have any support. Trying to reach them because of malfunctioning service(cannot connect to my account), still no answer or any mail confirming that my demand was taken in account. The point of a cloud service is to avoid losing data, with this provider it's the inverse, i can't recover my data.

I had paid for the storage and now its not working. It was so slow at the beginning, now not able to login. This is a complete SCAM.

I signed up for a lifetime plan and after not logging in for several months, it seems to have lost my details. It doesn't recognize my account even though they send me marketing emails to the address associated with their account.

Avoid these guys.

On the surface it seems great. Lots of storage, upload big files, that's all nice...until it isn't.
First and foremost, support is non existent. There isn't even a support link in the dashboard when you're a customer so you have to reach out on their main page, while logged out, and leave an email message with a BOT.
Why would you need support for a storage site anyway? Great question, you shouldn't but with Thunderdrive you do because it doesn't work properly. I sell digital products, training videos. People cannot download them at all because thunder drive times out every time they try to download a folder full of files. I have a 6TB account and it has proven all but useless. It's sad that they're not investing in more robust data transfer.

Don't ever sign up with thunderdrive, you'll get nothing.

Hi, I bought an account with Thunder drive for Life time plan. All my files and folders got disappeared suddenly. Sent couple of mails but no response yet. This is very bad when i need an important file to retrieve from Thunder drive and no files are available !! Awaiting their reponse !!

Most of the time I could access my files. I have had the service several years but lately I have had various issues. First, try to upload, no files show up, older files are there, then not. Try to logoff but can't. Quit web browser then can't log back in. Same thing happened a couple of weeks ago then cleared up until today Friday Nov 6 th. If it is not going to be dependable it is useless.

i bought into the lifetime plan 2 years ago. I uploaded a lot of pictures and have not signed the account for a few months. Low and behold, when I tried to sign in last week, i couldn't get in after a few tries. Eventually I got in BUT there is nothing in my account. Sent an email last week. No response. Sent another one now. I will see if they respond.

An update - After sending email yesterday, i now see my contents back to the account though i have not received a response yet. I will change the rating to 3 as the service is stil using a browser and no app's been released as per their roadmap a few years ago.

Avoid at all cost. File upload is extremely slow, and file download is either slow or not possible. The website itself and its roadmap has not been updated for the last 2 years. Social media channels stopped working.

I can not enter to my account after a while. Customer service not responding. This service is a scam.

I bought lifetime plan, even extended my plan with twice the sotrage, uploaded my files, some months later, I can't login to my account. Files gone, account erased. This company is a scam.

Should be able to give zero stars. Lifetime purchase $59. Customer service non-existent, bought through Stacksocial. Took the cash, let you log on for a while, then intermittently no data, then data there, then no data. What a crock. Can't believe they are still allowed to function and look for new mugs to buy their product.

I join the community of other victims of this fake cloud storage service. Here is my story, got the unlimited subscription for 29 $ for 2TB storage. Everything worked fine for the few months. After a year or so, all of my files disappeared and it would display "Oops something went wrong..." just like others have experienced. Being realistically optimistic i suspected something is wrong but I couldnt do anything then thinking that the servers might be overloaded Today when i check it, it says "INVALID credentials".... seriously !!1 They even deleted my account... Clicking on forgot password link does nothing. This service is not to be trusted and they are absolutely running a scam. I take my time to warn others to not fall prey to their offers.

I'm so disappointed with this service.
I uploaded quite many stuff (took ages), and I can't download bigger files, nor open them.
Tried to connect with support many times in various ways -- zero response.

A couple of years ago, I bought this pile of junk and saved hundreds of files in it, hoping I could access them anywhere. My laptop was recently damaged, and I was unable to access any files on it. So, logged in to my thunderdrive account to access those files from another Laptop. I was shocked to find that not a single file was there. All gone, just a blank screen. At the bottom, it says "Oops, looks like something went wrong." I contacted their support team, but no one responded or emailed me back. I am furious, annoyed, and utterly disappointed. It's not about the money I paid them. Breaking TRUST is what they did. They knew users would save important files. Don't BUY & I highly DO NOT recommend it anyway even they sorted my issue.

Scam, Fraud, worst, unprofessional.

I had purchased the drive space at thunderdrive in 2019. Now the drive space is gone and the support is not responding. they are word's number one fraudster and scammer.

Never ever transact anything with thunderdrive.

This companies in United states are scamming people all over the world and there is no legal remedy for people from outside US.
