The team at TPR are so supportive, right from our initial enquiry about our dog, to now. They have been very thorough in checking we understood what it takes to adopt a rescue and gave us confidence. This is an excellent rescue organisation that ensures potential adopters are well-informed of what the adoption process entails and what to expect once the adoption is completed. Loads of helpful, relevant information is provided as well as ongoing support throughout. Their attention to the welfare of the dogs is impressive and reassuring. It's great to see photos of the dogs on arrival at their new home - they all look in good condition and are happy. Absolutely wonderful people providing a much-needed opportunity for these dogs to have a better life.
We recently adopted a 5 month old puppy from Romania called Koda through Thistle Paws Rescue.
Louise at the rescue was so helpful throughout the entire process and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the dogs and ensuring they go to a good and prepared home. Our home check was carried out by Alix who was extremely welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable.
We were constantly kept informed about any changes, progress, etc with Koda, especially when he was leaving Romania to come to his forever home.
Now that we have Koda at home, Thistle Paws have kept in contact to ensure everything is going smoothly and it's a massive relief to know they are there for advice or to discuss any concerns with.
