I’ve been very pleased with the entire experience with Think Free Solar, from first contact through to after care.

1) After shopping around several installers, Think Free Solar was the first that actually paid attention to what I wanted to have installed rather than just trying to sell me a package. They quickly worked up a quote I was happy with for my bespoke installation.

2) When they were let down by a supplier, rather than just shifting the blame, they went above and beyond to make good on a difficult situation.

3) Installation was quick and professional, including helping me set up the myriad apps to control the new system.

4) The team provided, and continues to provide, support getting set up onto the right tariffs and ensuring that my system parameters are correctly set to minimise my energy costs.

Daryl came to quote, no pressure to buy at all. We did buy and all I can say is this firm is fantastic. The fitters did it in a day and they were very friendly. The electrician explained everything and we had a follow up call from Daryl to check everything was OK. 5 stars from me.

John and Ben cracked on with the cabling and battery install whilst the other lads did the scaffolding and panels. All done in 1 day. Leftveverything spotless too. Daryl had everything organised from survey to checking on the final work in just over a week. Can't recommend them enough. Looking at griends and families home on maps to see how many panels they could get!

We selected Think Free Solar as best choice out of 6 provider quotes to install our solar, battery and EV charging station at our home in Beverley. From initial enquiry through to commissioning the team were exemplary. Installation took just one day, including scaffolding, without fuss and with concern for us and our home, being respectful, polite and tidy throughout. Follow up has been good with questions answered promptly and any issue acted upon immediately. The appointed equipment supplier for Hanchu works closely with Think Free and they provided onsite assistance to swap out a faulty battery swiftly. Daryl, Danielle, Jeff and all the installation team have been very good and I have no hesitation in recommending their products and services. Well done Think Free Solar!

Bob and Tom arrived early unloaded the vehicle and got straight to work they were good quiet and tidy worked well throughout the day and explained everything I needed to know about the system took me through the app so I knew where my solar system was at work with in the house they were great

I’ve recently had solar panels and a car charger installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the very first contact, the team were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The installation itself was smooth and efficient, with everything clearly explained along the way.

What has really stood out, though, is the after‑sales support. Even though it’s only been about a week and a half since the installation, they’ve checked in several times to make sure everything is running perfectly and that I’m confident using the system. Any questions I’ve had have been answered quickly and thoroughly, which gives me real peace of mind.

It’s rare to find a company that combines great workmanship with genuinely caring customer service, but they’ve managed both. Highly recommended.

3 days since the installation and we are already seeing savings and have had a positive environmental impact. Think Solar have been magnificent! The pre sales experience was great, they were extremely responsive and happy to answer all our questions, plus we had a site visit to an installation so we could see exactly what our set up would be like. The actual installation was brilliant. started at 8, commissioned at 3:30, everything cleared away and clear instructions on usage. I honestly cannot recommend Think Solar enough

Simply outstanding service, Daryl arrived at the agreed time, explained everything very clearly, discussed with me my requirements and then suggested solutions and agreed what we needed all with no pressure and a very friendly approach. We decided to get an extra battery and change our EV charger which was definitely the way forward. The installation by Jeff and the team was first rate and everything was installed to a very high standard, everyone worked constantly, fitting the full system well withing the agreed time frame. It is clear that attention to detail is high on the list for all the staff and the site was left very clean and tidy. Jeff set up the phone apps I need to monitor the system explaining in detail all the info I needed to know. The office staff are very efficient and the fact they complete all the relevant paper work for all concerned is a god send. Jeff is always on the end of the phone for any assistance no matter how small the question. On the day Jeff kindly put the drone up taking pictures of my property and the installation and sent them to me instantly. All in all this is a very friendly company that are passionate about what they taking great pride in the work they carry out. 100% recommend them, I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Quick response to contact with the company followed by site visit within a few days. This meeting covered everything to do with installation of solar panels, batteries and EV charging point. All my questions were answered clearly and well. Good rapport established.Follow up was excellent including a visit to choose location of batteries, EV charger etc which prioritised meeting my needs and wishes. Installation complete in less than 2 weeks from first contact, scaffolding erected and removed in one day. A follow up visit, in the 2 week window, sorted out apps for me and did all communication with eletricity company. Each of the contractors was personable and professional in every respect. Office staff communicated really well and in harmony with the team of installers.

Honestly can’t fault Free solar with any aspect of the service. I’d had that mainly quotes I was confused and worried about the right products and companies. So glad I went with them. Geoff and Ben were just amazing in the day, kind, courteous, experienced and so tidy but most of all genuinely cared about the service at fitting as did the whole team. Daryl was so patient providing honest and transparent guidance and information re the products. Honestly I am a nightmare customer normally as I don’t trust salesmen but hand in heart if you are even thinking about solar products then you must go with Free solar.

Our system has been installed over 6 months now and wow what a system, it’s amazing it’s over achieving by over 50% of what was quoted, even when it’s been the wettest dullest winter we have still been able to generate kWh and even on some days we over produce and sell back to the grid. Daryl and the team are fantastic, and couldn’t be more helpful!! 100% recommend this company and happy to talk to any person needing more information. We had other quotes but this company outshone everyone! Thank you Daryl and team.
