Save your money and go elsewhere
I was so looking forward to visiting this restaurant, but sadly I was equally disappointed on the night.
As we walked in i could immediately hear a really large and obviously intoxicated group of around 16 people having a meal.
We went to celebrate my birthday, somewhere upmarket and intimate …or so we thought!
Wow - the volume from the group increased with every beer - it was just like being in a local Wetherspoons but with massively inflated prices.
The food was ok… but no where near good enough to justify the price tags I’m afraid. £21.50 for a pigeon breast starter….and you don’t even get the whole breast!!!!
We’ve eaten at the Ingham Swan before and that was far nicer….sorry!
Service was non existent as I think the servers were over run with the large table booking and we waited along time between dishes.
We mentioned the noise levels to our server who apologised, smiled and promptly did nothing about it!
It was so noisy that we only had a starter and main, paid the bill and left…never to return.
Very very disappointing evening.
