Thevintagerafflers Reviews

Went for an old Honda got entry for £1000. Not what I wanted. No chance of money back. It seems to be a common occurrence. Don’t think it’s a scam like has been suggested more than once in other reviews, I just think it’s poorly managed and run. Don’t waste your money on any of these people’s enterprises.

The same as all the below comments for the Renault Alpine last year.

Bit late on the review but still annoyed!!

Many other good competition comps out there.

Very happy with these guys and they have some lovely cars. I can't comment on earlier raffles which some others seem unhappy with but on the one I entered the Ts&Cs where clear on the purchase page that if they didn't sell enough tickets, 70% of the ticket sale revenue would be given away instead of the car. I would much rather the car but do understand that some raffle companies can't carry the losses of gareented draws like the bigger guys can.

I feel like I have just been scammed or robbed, a bit naughty to offer a sort after vehicle for a raffle then give a small cash pay out instead, I should have been offered an alternative or my money back,
Should have known better, I wouldn't do it again

Don't trust this company there not genuine, entered a competition to win a car, they delayed the draw, took a further 5k on top of the 10k they already generated then cancel the prize then they say the prize is now 5k due to there payment system, so where did all that money go, then advertised the car privately for 15k, so ended up with £10,000 plus still have the car thats assuming the gave away £5000

Use a 15k car to get 11k in ticket sales then change the prize to 5k cash and put car up for sale for 15k
Easy way to make 6k in cash I guess
Would never enter any comps by these people
Plenty of other genuine competitions running on Facebook where they give away the stated prize even if making a loss

Just simply a con, no idea if raffle even drawn who won or any other detail, do not waste your money

Avoid! They take your money then change the terms and conditions, blaming their own payment systems. They've so far not replied to 3 of my messages. At least give a response if you want to look in anyway legitimate.

Bought a ticket for the Yamaha Xs 650
Drawn yesterday but nothing showing on their website to say anything at all about it
Surely they could be bothered by letting their customers know who won

Do not spend your money with this company ,I bought four entries to win a car and they changed the prize with hardly any notice, upon selling 1800 tickets at £9.99 they changed the car prize to 5K making around 13K for themselves !!
I and many more feel ripped off and will not be wasting money with them again.

Changed terms on competition. Refused to refund after cancelling the auction of car (renault alpine) and giving 5 grand cash prize instead which was less than half of ticket sales. Will not trust again.

What a scam, I agree with the other guys, I entered a competition to win a car!! Put your money where your mouth is. All the other companies raffle the items even if they haven’t sold all the tickets.

Entered a competition to win a renault 5 and found out this evening that they are no longer giving it away, instead a £5000 cash prize. I didn’t enter a competition to win the money, would rather everyone get their money back they spent on a ticket. Poor marketing IMO

Beware entered a draw for a Renault 5 for then to say software issues caused them to change prize to £5000. Basically pocketing people's money. Real shame as they had something going doing the classics but now lost lots of customers.

I am very impressed with this company. I entered their raffle to win a Vintage Red Sports Car and received my online ticket/receipt immediately. I also received follow up emails letting me know when the live draw would take place and when new competitions would be taking place.

It's nice to know you are taking part in genuine competitions.

Great company and great blokes. The cars are exceptional and well worth purchasing a couple of tickets for the opportunity to win one.

Very well run, information about raffle was updated constantly.Very professional and website, with all details about source of car and people involved was truthful.Well done.DJ

These guys are great!
They have a genuine good fun nature and are really great with the winners.
What I also like is that they tend to concentrate on classic cars and bikes rather than just keep finding ordinary cars and turning them around.
I always look forward to hearing what's coming up next.
One final plus point is that they keep the ticket sale maximum just right so that you have a great chance!

This was the first time I entered a raffle of this kind and was initially sceptical. However the 1967 MGB looked lovely and I liked the fact that tickets were limited to 2400 and appropriately priced.Communications were good and I felt well informed during the period leading up to the draw. The live draw was well organised by Scott and Rob, transparency was important to me. I was the lucky winner of the raffle much to my surprise. Events post the raffle were excellent and as promised. The car was delivered safely and it was great to meet the team and have a video and pictures taken receiving the MGB. Additionally, the prize included a donation to charities of our choice and a hamper of very good meat, which was also a nice touch. My overall experience was very good and I would recommend anyone to give it a go. It went well for me.

Great communication and fun prizes! Will definitely be participating again!
