Worst customer experience ever

Should have written this long ago.
I felt like I had to write a review for the first time ever with as much information as possible since this was the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
It all started when I ordered a Chanel bag from The Vintage Bar themselves - which means no other seller included. Estimated delivery for this would be 2-4 days since I live in EU. After maybe 2 weeks I still had no bag. I Contacted them several times to hear where my bag was and got all kind of excuses. I had to basically call down their phone to reach them since there is no ”reply within 72 h” when e-mailing. You have to wait at least a week for every reply if you don’t send 10 emails every day.
I got the information that they had some problems with their deliveries from the storage unit and even that the bag shouldn’t have been out for sale yet and so on. I mean WHAT? First of all I as a customer shouldn’t have to reach out to you to get this information. If you can’t deliver in time as promised, YOU reach out to your customers. At first I was very understanding about the delay.
More than another week in, still no bag and worst of all, I can see that my bag is now up for sale again on the website??? Ofcourse I contact them again. I get information that this is a mistake and that this specific bag can’t be taken down by IT even after trying… Unbelievable.
More than ONE MONTH later I recieve a bag. Finally, I thought. Opening the bag I discovered that it wasn’t even the one I actually ordered. Not even near it. Funny since I even gave a heads up on this when emailing with them a 100 times like ”and please don’t send me the wrong bag after all this” since I then read reviews where other customer got the wrong item. Your business is built on bying something based on the pictures and information. If you can’t make sure this information is correct then maybe you shouldn’t look into how your business actually work. I sent pictures and complaints about this and all I got was ”If you’re not happy with the bag you can return it”.
This made me feel very uneasy about the authensity of the bag since it was nothing that I expected and it didn’t match the photos I based my purchase on.
The bag didn’t come with any information at all, not a ”Thank you for the purchase”, nothing really. No year when it was made or anything or the real authenticity card. Very unprofessional.

I even asked for a discount code on my next purchase because of all the problems they’ve made with this order and they couldn’t even give me that. Not that I would ever in a million years buy from this company again but I just wanted to see how their manager I talked to when asking this would handle the situation.
I figured since they’ve handed these out left and right to many others based on previous reviews on trustpilot I sure was suited for one.
Obviously he wouldn’t send this to me and said something like ”you’re not happy with this but we can live with that”.
Not that you really need your own discount code since they pretty much always have for example 20 percent off everything.
Since this was my first purchase from here I was expecting to become a big customer, but never ever again.

Reading all your reviews there is no question you actually don’t care about your customers.

Spare yourself your time and money. This company is not worth the headache and I wouldn’t even wish this experience upon my worst enemy.

All I ever heard was ”you can cancel the order” or ”you can return the bag”. The problem here was that I really wanted a Chanel bag. I didn’t fight for a month to get ”the” bag (even if it was a different style) and then send it back because it was the wrong one and order a new one. Never did they actually offer me something for all the mistakes they’ve done.
Even when I decided to keep the bag they wouldn’t give me a better price on it. I find that very strange since the bag I received didn’t match the price on the bag i actually ordered after googling some.

Biggest scam of all times. Do not recommend at all.

I thought about sending the bag back for another authencity check because all this makes you question their business but why bother. You would make some more mistakes along the way and I would probably end up without a bag but still with an invoice to pay.

I hope this honest rewiev will help someone.

We are committed to learning from this and improving our internal processes to ensure that future customers do not encounter the same experience. Please know that this has been escalated to the highest level of management, and we are implementing changes to prevent such incidents from occurring again.

While we know we cannot undo what happened, we would love the opportunity to make things right. We would like to offer a gesture of goodwill as a sincere apology for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. Since you did not provide an order number, unfortunately, we cannot get back to you personally, although we feel a great need to contact you. Terrible service

Terrible service. I bought a bag a few years ago which broke after only 2 years of using it. I went to a repair store and got it repaired myself. A few months later, it broke again. The leather is so old that it is not repairable. The Vintage Bar will not do anything about it because the warranty period has expired. Unacceptable that you buy a very expensive bag which is so old and with leather in such a bad condition and the only response you receive is we can’t do anything.

Do not buy your products here!

Not even worthy of 1 Star!

If you value your money and seek genuine luxury items, I strongly advise against considering the vintage bar. My experience with this platform has left me feeling scammed and deceived. The lack of transparency, questionable authenticity, and outrageous pricing make it clear that they are not a trustworthy or legitimate source for quality vintage luxury bags. Beware and explore other reputable sources to avoid falling victim to their shady practices.

Totally unprofessional, scammers!

Totally unprofessional company and sellers. Got scammed twice by two different sellers in less than one month. I ordered the bags and customer service says that they have spoken to the sellers and that they will send the bags… time goes and NOTHING! No help from customers service and they still have these sellers on the website… (TheBrandCollector, France & Luxxx, Poland) so be careful!!! I would NOT recommend anyone, not even my worst enemy to try to bye something from “The Vintage Bar”! Waste of time and money!! Also they sell the bags for MUCH more than the actual sellers, so always check out the original sellers website first!!!

After 2 weeks of waiting for my item. They are first then letting me know, that they are not able to send it.
No earlier message, no compensation, no alternative.

Poor order communication

I placed my order over two weeks ago, there has been no communication update besides “processing” on my account. I understand my item could be being shipped by an outside seller but it has been radio silent on the status of my order. I tried to contact customer service and did not receive a response. I have no idea if my item is coming as my card has been charged and then refunded the charge was cancelled even though it says my order is processing

Good customer service, product not

Customer service was excellent, I got a reply for my question quickly. However, the product wasn’t what I expected. The sunglasses that I ordered were actually sunglasses with high intensity. That wasn’t mentioned on the product description. Good service, quick delivery and nice web page but bad product. Will return them.
