Just found out this company is a scam. Thank you all for your reviews below. Sorry that you lost money with these guys. The supposed buyer told me he lives close to my city (I did not give my address to him, only the city and state). He offered me to pay for my vehicle with his wife’s Venmo, even I telling him my vehicle and trailer has a loan on it. He was just pressing me to send the report.
Before buying the report I have the feeling to check this company reviews. The only place report anything about them is on Trustpilot. I cannot find anything about them anywhere. I asked the buyer to use another VIN report company but the buyer is sending me emails that any other company is not as good as this one. I asked him to meet with me tomorrow to check the vehicle then I will send the report to him. I asked him for his phone number. He and I were send emails back and forth to each other at this same time I am writing this review. The moment I asked him to meet with me and send his phone number he is stopped replying. I just sent another email asking him to answer my request and no answer.
Update: He just answered me saying he needs the report first and did not send me his phone number.
Yeah, just thieves trying to collect easy money and also steal my information.
I agree with the previous reviewers. Why would a "VIN check" website only sell their reports to the owners of the vehicle? Because the buyers are fake. My scammer's name was "Jeannine Donaldson". Glad that Trustpilot is here to help protect consumers.
Scam site. Sellers beware. A buyer acts interested in the item you are selling and then asks for a history report from this website. Everything appears legit, even uses Stripe for CC processing except no service is provided. The website has only been listed for 1.5 months and all reviews are negative except for the first one. I wonder who wrote that review. Thankfully I didn't fall for it.
It's a SCAM. He tried to get us to run a HULL ID check on our boat saying that only the owner can run the report. Some guy named Craig Hoehn. Sellers Beware.
This is a scam service trying to steal your credit card information. Be especially careful if you are a private seller of a car, boat, etc.
This is a SCAM website selling fake VIN reports for vehicles. They will steal your personal information and credit card information. It is being run by a scam center based in Pakistan. IP of the scam center: 110.93.247.41.
