Fantastic customer service from The Tortoise. Purchased a baffle plate which unfortunately failed after only two fires. After confirming the issue and taking my order details (and responding within 24 hours on a Sunday) I was immediately offered a replacement, but as the stock was low I was given the option of a full refund if I could not wait. I chose to wait and the replacement turned up as promised.

If you want good information for free, and economic saves spares and accessories, then this is the place to come!

Fantastic service , I initially ordered the wrong set of fire bricks for my wood burner and feared the worst with regard to refunds etc, as the bricks were processed for me. However when I contacted the company & explained my dilemma, they immediately tried to help me with some suggestions. One approach was to cut down the larger (lucky break) fire bricks to the smaller size needed by my stove. I was able to fit the fixed bricks today & they fit like a glove, thanks to the guys who helped Liam & Gabriel, as they not alone got my issue solved but did so quickly & without making me feel like a moron for ordering the wrong parts, well done & thank you !

Needed a saltfire st rope for my logburner. Emailed my request, got the answer and placed the order. Within 3 days it had arrived. Fitted it. Superb. If I need anything else this is the first place I will go to

Great stove products. I ordered a rope kit and glass cleaner from The Tortoise as the price was very competitive. It arrived very quickly, and after I had an issue with the install, Gabriel responded very fast to my emails and was very generous in his solution. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to brighten up their stove or fireplace and use a small business.

I bought a very sensibly priced, good quality rope kit here. Easily the match of the OEM kit (Charnwood), better than other third party kits I've bought, and cheaper even than buying rope off the roll from some vendors.

I made a mistake with my order and they dealt with it without fuss.

Top people , ordered a new rope kit for my wood burner, easy to find exact rope etc for my brand of stove . Kit delivered quickly and packaged very well , also had a QR code on the inside of the box which links you to a video to fit..very nice touch..many thanks
