This course is absolutely excellent! I did the 9- day course and the knowledge, practice and support that Stu offers is incredible. I feel really confident in my skills going forward and would recommend this to anyone that's looking to get started with a tiling career.

Absolutely fantastic course, I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 days, learnt loads and had loads of fun whilst doing it. Stu is so knowledgable and also amusing at the same time which made theory parts not boring. The course has left me feeling confident that I can continue on my own path but also with the knowledge that Stu is literally on the other end of the phone if I need any support :-)

I have just completed the 4day course and it was absolutely fantastic! I arrived on the course with absolutely zero experience of tiling or using any tools at all, and I have left feeling confident that I can tile my own bathroom and kitchen! Brilliant course, fantastic venue and extremely well looked after by Stu !

A 4 day tiling course with the tiling academy was brilliant, stu our tutor was informative, funny, knowledgeable. Gave us the information and practical in tiling that I feel confident to start my own projects and possibly making it a career choice. I highly recommend the course.

I’ve just completed the 4 day course and it exceeded my expectations massively! It was a great course, with great instruction, couldn’t of asked for anything more. I wasn’t doing this for a career change but it would definitely give me the confidence to take on tiling jobs if I was to ever think about a change. Stu also offers past students help over the phone in the future if you’re stuck and need advice!

Recently completed this course with stu and it was great, all so clear and easy to understand. In the 4 days gives you all the important information you need to start off with and Stu is nothing but helpful through out. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

I have just completed the 9 day professional tilers course and I thougherly recommend it. I had never laid or cut a tile or used any tilers tools. By the end of the first day I was confidently working out and cutting angles. From there I was setting out, planning and laying tiles on both floor and walls. All to a professional standard. You learn by doing, guided and led by Stuart and his vast experience. I was the slowest on the course but was never left behind. Your fellow students support you. It's all very relaxed. Great fun with Stuarts relaxed style of teaching his funny but insightful anecdotal stories that blend skills and business education. Expect hard work and fun. On reflection I wonder how we achieved so much in 9 days. Recommend it. John Andersson

I have completed the 9 day professional tiling course. And I would recommend this to anyone that is thinking of starting up tiling. I have come away with so much knowledge of tiling now and can’t wait to get started. Stu the tutor made you feel very welcoming, and made it a joy to attend and want to go back the next day.

Iv just finished my 9 day tiling course and iv got to say it was great stu is a really good teacher he taught me moor than I was expecting to learn in the 9 days it is definitely worth doing iv you are looking on being a tiler I am now confident to go out and take on work in the tiling industry.

Recently took the 9 day course without any prior tiling experience or knowledge and absolutely loved the course! Stu was fantastic and can safely say I feel confident tiling my own house and even do a few jobs for mates after the course. Stu was fantastic for confidence building and very knowledgable as well as open to questions for what ever project you have going on. Can’t thank stu and everyone else at The Tiling Academy enough. I started day 1 of the 9 day course having never picked up a trowel and ended the course confident and eager to get out in the world tiling to a standard that I would be happy for someone to come into my own home and do. Stu is a very knowledgeable person and has a clear passion for the trade that he now passes on to his students in a fun working environment. This course doesn’t feel like school, you’re not sat at a desk all day with a little bit of practical, it’s hands on getting stuck in. If you’re thinking about it, my advice is to go for it and do it, I wish I had done it long before now. Thank you again!

I have just completed the 9 day tiling course with Stu at the Tiling Academy. This has been a fabulous course with great instruction from Stu from start to finish with the ongoing mentorship when required. A funny personable instructor with unlimited time and patience.

As a complete novice this has got me to a level where I can go out and tile on paid jobs. The varied amount of tiling projects and modules completed was diverse and daunting initially but with instructions and tips all were completed to a high standard.

The facility was great with class sizes of no more than 8 with individual pods to work in. All facilities were provided from parking, unlimited refreshments and snacks throughout. Entertainment was provided in many forms from Sky TV, news appears, Darts and game machines.

This is a perfect start to a new career in tiling and much more going ahead.

I did the 4 day course. Hadn't done any tiling before. At the end of the course I had the confidence and knowledge to get started on my own projects including setting out, tiling walls & floors, handling windows, tiling around showers etc. Also Stu and the others on the course were all great and helping each other out. Recommend the 4 day course for getting started.

Having never lifted a tile In my life I was slightly apprehensive about the 9 day course and new career I was aiming for. I must say from the second you contact the tiling academy you are put at ease, stu, the trainer and owner is outstanding, lovely chap and very knowledgeable, can’t do enough to help and made everyday fun. I’ve left with confidence and new skills to put towards new career, I really can’t recommend the tiling academy more.5 stars absolutely brill, the are no alternatives book your course here. I did the 9 day tiling course and it’s the best thing I ever did, completely changed my life . I now run my own tiling business and have months of work booked in advance all in over a year n half .
Such an amazing platform for anyone who wants a career change id highly recommended the tiling academy . Stuart is a top bloke and really pushes you to show the capabilities you can achieve.

Also recently taken on a labourer to start with me and Stuart has now got a labourer one day course which is great for a head start and value for money .

I would highly recommend The Tiling academy. I done the course 12 months ago and have never looked back I am now booked up for 3 months in advance all the time. I recently got in touch with Stu regarding hiring a tile cutter for a one off job and he offered me his Sigma 1200 cutter for the work I had booked in, you wouldn't get that anywhere else. Any questions or problems he never fails to get back in touch.
