I had a problem with the first Watch…
I had a problem with the first Watch band I received, more my fault than the manufacturer yet they were extremely helpful and more than fair. Replacing my original strap at a steeply discounted price. The new strap arrives and it is more handsome than I could’ve even imagined.

Chestnut Buttero Strap
I've been looking for some time for a brown leather strap for my 3861 Speedmaster. David was online when I was visiting his online store and suggested the Buttero Chestnut Brown as I was trying to give my Speedy a FOIS look. Turned out to be a perfect choice! High quality craftsmanship and super comfortable on wrist. Would definitely recommend.

The FOIS look is one of my favourite directions for a Speedy, and that chestnut tone sits beautifully against the black dial and steel case. Pleased it's comfortable on the wrist too — Buttero breaks in really nicely over the first few weeks.

Better than OEM
Very well made strap, looks and appears OEM. I needed a longer strap for my wrist, and since IWC didn't make the strap style I needed for my larger wrist, the Strap Tailor came through. Very happy with the final result.

Great strap!
Although the price was at the upper limit of what I would consider acceptable, I was very pleased with the strap and clasp. It is very comfortable, convenient and good looking. I would buy another if rubber sail cloth looking straps came in a leather looking brown color. It seems no one makes good looking brown rubber straps. I also like the “price is the price” way of doing business, no additional taxes, shipping fees or tariffs, a sincere thank you for that.

The brown rubber sailcloth point is a fair one, and you're right that it's a genuine gap in the market. It's noted on our development list — getting a brown that reads as warm and leather-like rather than flat or muddy in rubber is the challenge, but it's something we'd like to crack.
And thank you for calling out the all-in pricing — we made a deliberate choice to absorb duties and shipping on international orders rather than surprise customers at the door. It's good to know that lands well.

Unfortunately things didn’t turn out…
Unfortunately things didn’t turn out the way I had hoped. But wanted three of your straps, still do, and amazingly only you had the 3for2 offer.
Frustratingly I couldn’t test the fit between the lugs. 18mm but I think 17mm may have been a better choice.
I could not risk damaging the straps by squeezing them onto the watches so eventually had to return them in pristine condition. If you can think of a way to guarantee a fit then I’m your man.

If you are unsure about your lug width its worth getting some cheap digital calipers to be certain of the size before you order, way more accurate than trying to work it out with a ruler or taper measure, then we can be sure to get the size just right. Alligator custom strap
I ordered an alligator custom strap for my Glashütte Original watch. The order process was easy and fast, there are lots of options to chose from. Delivery took about 5 weeks, I got several emails with interim status updates. I am very happy with the result and have just ordered again .

Great quality and fair pricing.
I have ordered many times from The Strap Tailor and after wearing the straps for a while I can say that they are fantastic.
The leather ones have held up well to plenty of abuse while retaining the lovely colour that they arrived with.(The stitching has remained in great condition too)
The soft touch rubber and two piece nylon straps have held up well for my work watches, easy to clean and haven't failed on me - even when subject to knocks and scrapes.
All in all this company offers solid products for a fair price - looking forward to ordering more in the future.
