Great experience and my assessor Gemma was excellent turning my submissions around so quickly and giving really valuable feedback. Like many others the only thing preventing it from being 5*... See more

This course is excellent. The PPTs are very clear, and there are plenty of resources for the project work. The course is also highly interactive, so learning never feels boring.
My assessor Tracy was very supportive. Whenever my work needed resubmission , she provided clear and detailed feedback on what needed to be improved and how to improve it. I would highly recommend this course.
I have done two Level 2 courses under The Skills Network management. For both the tutors, feedback and support were excellent. I was really engaged with the process and the learning opportunity. I was able to have longer when I asked and felt the 'pressure' was just right to keep me going without stressing. I am very grateful to have been able learn whilst being fully funded.
I had a great experience with The Skills Network. The course was well-structured, easy to follow, and very informative. The support provided was helpful and communication was clear throughout. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to improve their skills.
Fantastic , loved doing my course and I had Fantastic support with my dyslexia
I had an amazing person today helping me with my enrolment with Skills Network. His name was Mark Bromwich. I was getting in a right mess, and he was so patient with me,I had to keep ringing him, but nothing was to much bother for him. Thank you again Mark ?👍
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I had a bit of a wobble initially as it had been a while since studying, I needed a deadline extension and it was no issue at all. After that I loved it, I gained a lot of knowledge and understanding from it. The tutors I dealt with - Louise and Emma were fantastic, great feedback, information and patience from them. I would advise to find out for yourself and not be put off by any negative reviews, you do need to commit and have time to do the courses as deadlines to meet. I received my certificate within days and have applied to do my next one, hopefully very soon.

Absolutely discussed by this company. I declared a disability on the application form. Requested reasonable adjustments of extra time. No official plan was put in place. Pushy, unhelpful staff. Failing an assement based on their own inabilty to follow the law and lack of support. Will constantly hound you will emails about assements despite poor support and unrealistic expectations and deadlines. Keep well away. Like a money making scheme rather than respectable educational facility.

I enjoyed the course; however, do be aware that, depending on how thorough you are with your study and response, the course may last longer than is suggested. I am one such learner that struggled to reduce the time, so I wasn't meeting deadlines. The Skills Network were absolutely brilliant with this issue, however, and offered extensions, advice and reassurance, because their priority was for me to complete the course successfully. I have done a couple of courses with this organisation now and although stressed at times with how long it took me to complete each module, I am really pleased to have done it and will be doing another course in the future. Please be aware that we all study differently. For me, I enjoy face to face with discussion alongside remote learning, which is not something that comes readily on an online course. Furthermore, we all study differently and take our studies either casually or more seriously, so how long it takes to complete the course will vary. All in all, I would recommend this course as preparation for further study or simply as a taster for acquiring new knowledge and skill.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
I was accepted for a free course back in September, however they didn't enroll me onto a course until late November.
Due to personal commitments I am not able to complete the course in December and they will only let me delay for two weeks, or I have to pay a £100 cancellation fee.
So it's ok for them to delay for weeks/months but "learners" are not allowed to!

This is my 5th level 2 course I've completed with The Skills Network. I've also completed a level 3. I can't fault the process from start to finish. Support on hand whenever you need it.
Already planning to enrol on another course in the new year .

I learnt a great deal at such a short interval.

The feedback from the assessor was really informative and helpful enabling me to finish the course within the time scale. The learning information in the course was very good and the links too. There was always someone at the end of the phone to help if needed. My knowledge at the end of the course was greatly improved and definitely up to date. It was an extensive course but well worth taking. I received my certificate a week after receiving my final assessment.

I have loved very course I have been involved with. The content is very involved and interactive. You can identify the material could be used in practice situation. I was in a low point in my life and these courses have helped me tremendously in terms of learning another skill set I attended a Counselling skills course and Awareness of Bullying in Children and Young Children Course (Level 2). I felt supported during the experience.

This course was really helpful: I already had some knowledge of neurodiversity, ASC, and distressed behaviour, but this course gave me a deeper understanding and greater confidence in the legislation and theory of distressed behaviour. It also gave excellent strategies and tools to help those supporting a child with neurodiversity and/or distressed behaviour. I took the course to prepare for a career in residential foster care after almost 10 years in secondary mainstream learning support, but a plot twist means I am now using the skills and knowledge as a 1:1 education mentor. I would recommend this course to anyone working with children and young people. I would advocate for all senior leadership members in education to take the course so they can better understand the challenges our children and educators face today!
Oh. And my tutor? Chef's kiss. Absolute legend of a woman: amazing feedback that was specific, encouraging, and aimed to help me reach my personal goals.

I am still awaiting my certification and I completed the course in August. I have had no emails or calls from your institution which I find to be quite disrespectful considering we have deadlines for submissions. You should have deadlines for interactions.

I had to wait a while for my fully funded course to come through, but when it did, it was very much worth the wait. While the course was delivered through presentations and videos, I think the planning, wording, and structure was clear and easy to follow, and the support was very much human and personal. I appreciated all the check-ins, and the feedback.
While studying, I was able to test out my new skills in real time as I picked up some related work. The team I was working with were impressed by what I was able to deliver, and I will have more work with them next year.
The course has also given me the confidence to create my own opportunities using what I have learned.

The course was really enjoyable and relevant to my future career aspirations however when originally booking the course it said it was 12 weeks and approx. 5 hours a week, but once I started I had only one week per assignment and I was spending over 12 hours a week studying.
The other issue I had was not getting feedback from the tutor very quickly and when I contacted for further help, I almost missed a deadline as they didn't get back to me. Finally a lot of the links to the associated websites were t working which meant further time finding the information I needed.

The course was very informative indeed. I learned a great deal. The links to relevant charities were helpful in understanding what support is available for children experiencing mental health conditions. This is a subject area I have wanted to learn more about for some time.
The tutorial support was also very good. I felt encouraged to achieve my full potential.
I am now studying an in-person part-time Level 2 Counselling Skills course. Therefore the digital study skills achieved on this course has been good preparation.
