The quality of these cabinets is very subpar. yes, they are plywood boxes and solid wood faces as advertised but that's where the good seemed to stop. I regret choosing them for my kitchen and now I have basically guaranteed that I will need to redo it again the next few years. Multiple front faces were warped. cabinet sides were bubbled, luckily, I was able to rearrange my layout to hide them as I didn't have time to wait for a replacement. The paint has adhesion issues and peels off of the primer layer VERY easily. plywood and drawer pieces have green staining in them. I paid for a warranty, but when I emailed them about issues, I was offered a can of touch up spray paint even though i was told a professional would be sent to repair in the event of this happening. Glad I spent 100s of dollars for that...
I was also told that they could provide a paint code for use at any Sherwin Williams store to paint existing cabinetry to match in the house. the one they provided is so outdated the local store told me not to use it has it won't match with the new base paint mix. They were right.... In short, the buying process was great and helpful, but once the cabinets arrived, problems seemed to pop up left and right.

The RTA store is a great place to get good quality cabinets at a very affordable price. I could never afford cabinets like this at any other place. The staff at the RTA store are very helpful and navigate you through any issue you may have. I had an issue with a cabinet that had a paint issue, I reported it and they replaced it immediately. I believe you will be fully satisfied if you purchase cabinets from the RTA store. The only negative thing I can say is not about the RTA store, but about the shippers they ship with. I had to meet the big truck in the middle of the parking lot with my smaller truck to accept delivery. I’m very lucky to have a truck not everyone does.

I want to start by saying that we genuinely enjoy working with The RTA Store. As our business continues to expand, maintaining a competitive edge through strong partnerships and clear coordination has become increasingly important to us.
We are a multi-trade, hands on, on site Design Build, Renovation, and Installation company. Our workflow is highly detailed and field driven. All our designs are produced in house with precision—often down to 1/16"—and are intended to translate directly from plan to fabrication and installation, with adjustments made as each phase of the project progresses.
Recently, we’ve encountered challenges with several distributors who rely on in house or subcontracted designers to review our submissions using software such as 2020 Design, Pro100, ProKitchen, SketchUp, etc. In some cases, these reviews result in unapproved design and order changes rather than recommendations. This includes altering layouts, swapping cabinet sizes, and adding unnecessary fillers. Sometimes this stems from miscommunication through the distributor; other times it originates from the customer or Owner/GC. Regardless of the source, these unilateral revisions have created avoidable issues in the field—dimensional conflicts, installation delays, and scope discrepancies.
To be clear, we fully welcome and encourage Owner/GC and customer review of their list of options and design intent. However, when third party designers modify finalized designs—especially without direct coordination—it undermines constructability, accountability, project management, and the overall success of the installation.
Our goal is always to minimize fillers. When fillers are required, we have the internal capability to address them properly. Our team includes master finish carpenters and a fully customizable cabinet shop with our own sawmill, kiln, and CNC capabilities. We can fabricate cabinetry from scratch when needed. That said, this level of customization is not always cost effective on smaller net projects or multifamily builds, where standardized cabinet sizes offer more predictable pricing and availability.
As we continue to grow, it is important for us to work with partners who respect design ownership, dimensional accuracy, and field realities—and who approach design reviews as collaborative guidance, not unilateral revisions.

Online assistance was VERY good, we had created a shopping cart earlier with a color and style we wanted but never placed the order. In the meantime it appeared that style was discontinued and we reluctantly were going with a different style when I asked the online chat about earlier samples we had ordered. At that time they said the Royal Bronze was still available! We ordered immediately!

Jaimie was incredible to work with and very communicative. Made this process simple. I recommend this company to everyone. I haven’t received the product yet but the customer service has been out of this works. Thank you!!

After sending a message to the online live chat, I was connected with Jaimie. She became my primary POC during the order process and was very responsive and patient with all my questions and needs.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the design tool on the website is not as user friendly as other websites I’ve used.

Great way to order cabinetry!

Was able to use the online 2D & 3D tools to create spaces I wanted to visualize for my kitchen. There was always help available for any questions, suggestions and ideas via phone or email. I love my cabinets, was thrilled with the choices, got my sample & went with it. Double checked all my components, etc. with RTA. More affordable than other options I found out there, this worked perfectly for me. I also got a small 3 cabinet bank for the laundry room above the washer & dryer, so easy!! Thank you!!

Love the designers. It would be great to call them more readily. The issues I have are that I will have to use aftermarket pull out shelves and the shipping options are not very realistic when you consider having to get palletts from curbside to my apartment up the stairs. It is difficult to arrange for truck parking and help when you are not sure exactly when the delivery will be done. Considering the size and weight of your product, you need to offer, even if I had to pay for it, deliveries to the door.

Ashley Paquette was tremendous help in our custom pool house project. From start to finish, she answered all our questions and ensured we reached the finish line on time. Upon delivery, we received flawless cabinetry with no damage or issues. They are very well built and will serve our pool house for years to come. Thank You!

It took weeks for two pieces of trim to get to my client. Plus, the shipping cost was outrageous.

The cabinets I received were of a high quality, higher than I thought they would be. I can imagine these will last for decades to come. The only issue I had was when they got delivered, the box at the very bottom of the pallet got damaged and was not visible at the time of delivery, and even though it was past the time to report damage, they sent me a new part that was damaged. Would definitely recommend to anybody considering new cabinets!
