When I injured my shoulder a few years ago I followed, The Ready State shoulder program which was the only program that worked. This year I injured my knee. I had been doing PT without much success so I bought the Runner's Knee Program. My question is why didn't I try this program first? I have seen significant improvement in just 1 week of doing the exercises and I haven't followed the entire protocol yet! I now know in the next couple of weeks once I have the time to follow the entire protocol, the pain will be gone. I should have started by going to The Ready State.

After living with chronic lower back pain , and even back surgery for almost twenty years, I had just accepted that's how my existence would be. Living on pain meds, and just dealing with it.
However, I decided to purchase the book "Born to Move"a couple of months ago, and have been incorporating the mobility sessions into my daily routine. I can honestly say that I haven't felt this good physically in more then twenty years!
It's so simple, yet effective!
I've now ordered another two copies of the book for my adult children.
What a game changer for the improvement in my quality of life this has been!

This protocol helped me prepare for an unexpected surgery on a broken ankle. I'm following the protocol and although I'm only a few days post-op I am already reaping the benefits of the knowledge shared in the protocol. I can't encourage you enough to give this protocol a chance if you are facing surgery.

I absolutely love the content! The videos are easy to follow and find. Doing atleast one mobility WOD daily has really improved my movement and flexibility!

It’s not bad, enjoy the explanation. Very helpful but the app can be very glitchy

Four years and still going. I’m always finding new uses for TRS. I can’t imagine being on my (mid-life) training journey without ready access to these videos, AMAs, protocols and podcasts, books...

i was interested in stand desk routine, working at my desk painlessly - this is what you are famous about, why i was interested in you. But instead you provided general fitness and other vague fitness training exercises etc. that do not differentiate. They look good, no doubt. But no value for me. I did not recieve value i came for.

5-Star Review for The Ready State App by Dr. Kelly Starrett
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Ready State app is a game-changer for anyone serious about optimizing their mobility, performance, and recovery. Dr. Kelly Starrett and his team has created an incredible resource that feels like having a personal physical therapist and coach right in your pocket.
The app is packed with easy-to-follow videos, targeted mobility routines, and customized protocols for addressing specific issues—whether it’s improving range of motion, easing pain, or enhancing athletic performance. I love how intuitive and organized the app is; you can quickly find what you need, whether you’re prepping for a workout or dealing with nagging tightness.
What sets The Ready State apart is the coaches depth of knowledge and their ability to make complex concepts accessible to everyone. The sessions are efficient, effective, and actionable, with clear instructions and no fluff. After just a few weeks of consistent use, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my flexibility, reduced joint pain, and better overall movement quality.
If you’re an athlete, desk worker, or just someone who wants to move and feel better, this app is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

I love the content and the instructors. Very knowledgeable and insightful when they present a mobility session. Some area for improvement though are 1) there doesn’t appear to be any structure to the presentation of the daily mobility sessions. You will often see the same body parts presented over and over within a week or even on back-to-back days 2) the prep sections are not that useful for a sport as most of the content that comes up is for post activity and is an assortment of various exercises. Would be great if some truly sport or workout specific prep content was developed 3) the app is super buggy and often freezes or fails while you try and load content.

Absolutely no response after many attempts regarding a billing issue.
UPDATE
Issue quickly resolved once I made contact. Very pleasant and professional to deal with.

I love the instruction and the banter between Kelly and the other folks in the videos. The only thing that gives me hesitation is that it can be hard to see sometimes where Kelly is trying to put the roller, lacrosse ball, etc.

Excellent app, fun to use & easy to tailor to time, equipment & needs. I got so much out of the trial that I’m definitely signing up for more! Thank you TRS team for the clarity, encouragement & play that you package up the teaching of vital insights & skills into being a better hooman! 😘

I use something from The Ready State every day, even though I may not log-in… and when I don’t? I feel it. Already used it this morning, with a cup of coffee and the beach.

Love it! My only problem is I get lost with the muscle names as the camera angle never changes and so I can't tell where you've moved the roller/ball/etc. to. I understand that it would mean the camera angle might be unflattering for YOU though. Maybe a flash picture of the muscle anatomy man you show on the pain-body page, with an arrow. Not sure, but it's getting better for me each day as I'm more familiar with your lingo.
