We have done most of the virtual escape room experiences from this site now and have really enjoyed them all. We have completed them with other people via Skype (screen sharing) and it's worked really well.

CSI: Grounded - Our first online escape room and had a blast! Puzzles were challenging enough, some more than others! Took the group of 3 couples around 2 hours. Definitely going to be buying more!

What a great experience! Simple purchase process, simple access, and what great fun we all had “together” from our own homes! This has been the second online escape room we’ve done, and have decided as a group to continue the fun once a month. Highly recommend!

I have now completed most rooms at the Panic Rooms, and had the pleasure of many of their online rooms. The physical rooms are flawless and so well thought through. The online rooms are a great bit of enjoyment in lockdown! Can’t fault them, highly recommended.

Our very first experience an escape room with family and friends. A good few hours of entertainment with challenging clues and well presented. Would highly recommend, and suitable for a wide age group. Definitely looking forward to our next one!

I've now done 3 of their online escape rooms with various friends and every one of them has been fairly poor. There's always been at least one point where we've had to ask for the answer, and having received the answer still been non the wiser. Generally found them a bit frustrating as opposed to fun and friends have described it at a waste of time.

Highly recommend The Panic Room Online. We had a fantastic evening solving puzzles in three different households across the country! Challenging tasks tested our team but we enjoyed solving all the clues and thought it was great value for money! We’ll definitely be purchasing more. Thank you for alleviating our lockdown blues!

I very rarely write reviews but my experience with this company was fantastic. We played the CSI Grounded game which was recommended by Sarah @ Panic Room.
The game was challenging enough to stretch most of our group without alienating anyone & the clues ensure that the game can maintain a decent pace. We completed the game in a little under 3 hours but could certainly have done it in 2 hours.
I would highly recommend this game as a fun alternative to a Zoom based quiz. Excellent value for money & customer service too, I will definitely be doing this again.

Brilliant online murder mystery game played with family members over zoom. Easy instructions to follow and great value entertainment for an evening. We found it quite tricky but due to the clues managed to solve the crime. Would highly recommend trying it, you won't be disappointed and we would definitely do another one.

Loved the lockdown escape room experience, it gave us something different to do with our 2 teenagers.
We’ve completed 2 x escape rooms now, both have been enjoyable with the right amount of challenge and fantastic attention to detail.

Last night myself and members of my family (in different households) enjoyed ‘The Haunted Manor’. This was a fun ‘whodoneit’, that had us all working together, to figure out the clues. The messages were spooky and very well done, you do at times feel like you’re in a horror movie, but very enjoyable and really added to the whole experience. Would we do another one? 100% and definitely recommended.

Really enjoyed these online escape rooms great fun to play with family at the moment. Looking forward to trying out a new one!

UPDATE - I have been contacted by the company and they were helpful and good customer service. They offered me my choice of another game as a gesture of goodwill which was appreciated.

Wanted to play a game from this website with my family for my birthday in lockdown. We searched through the options and decided on M.A.R.V.O phase 1 which claimed to take 45-60 minutes to complete. This was £15 when we purchased it. 20 minutes later and only 4 easy puzzles later it was all over. We've done online escape rooms with other companies before which were much harder and cheaper and we got nearly 2 hours of fun out of them so £15 for 20 minutes is a rip off! very disappointed!

Did CSI Mafia last night, and for my first experience of any Escape Room, never mind being an online one, it was extremely enjoyable. I think I overthought some of the clues, but the enjoyment was in digging through and discussing everything anyway, so top marks from me! As novices, and with interruptions for drinks and nibbles, it took us about an hour and three quarters. We played it with four people in total with one being online in another part of the country. We really enjoyed it and we will certainly be back in a couple of weeks for another.

Absolutely horrendous.

Probably may have endured the experience had I not already been to other Escape Rooms, but those made this one look diabolical. Far too much reading (and listening) and boring riddles, the interactive Escape Rooms such as Lakes Escapes show this one right up!

This was for the Sinister Soiree (which lives up to its name as sinister!).

Very clever, well thought out game. We had one for just 2 players and really enjoyed the concept. We gave them feedback for how the game had a couple of glitches and they sorted it straight away.Really recommend

Looking forward to doing another one soon

Me and a group of friends had a great time completing the CSI Airline Crime Scene case last weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at how fun this was to do over zoom and we really had to put our thinking caps on to solve some of the tasks.
I highly recommend doing one of these as a group if you're bored at home and craving some sort of a social life.

Just completed the Sherlock Holmes escape room, it’s brilliant. I’m claustrophobic so the idea of a real escape room terrifies me. Doing it in the comfort of my own home is great!! Huge thanks for giving us some joy in lockdown.

I messaged Panic Room a few times to make sure I got the right game for my 14 year old daughter and her friends. . The team couldn’t have been more helpful. We chose Mansion Impossible. I am IT illiterate so as well as using web chat I telephoned them to make sure I knew how to download it and send links to her friends due to lockdown. They are available 10am-10pm in case you have issues. It’s actually soooooo easy to do.!my daughter and her friends loved it and they escaped!! And it’s so cheap to do

As a team we have just completed Mansion: Impossible an online escape room provided by The Panic Room Online. It was difficult enough so we felt it was a real challenge but not so much that it was impossible. We had a lot of fun as a team. There were 12 of us so we split into 2 groups and 6 in each group was a good number, everyone felt able to participate. It was also very reasonably priced and we will try to do another one next month. I also liked the fact that the links don't expire.
