I ordered to Italy and the parcel arrived in about a week, very well packed with no plates broken. One plate was out of stock and missing from the shipment, but it was quickly refunded.
I received two ramen bowls that were not the ones I ordered and that cost €10 less per bowl. I had to contact them twice to get a return label, and it’s now been almost two weeks since I sent the bowls back. I still haven’t received the correct items or a refund. The process has been unnecessarily long and frustrating — really disappointing experience.
I had made a full basket before I checked the reviews. I was a bit concerned, but I needn't have been! I placed my order on Thursday afternoon, I had an email confirming stock availability on Friday, it was delivered Monday morning (I chose DPD).
All of the packaging was high quality paper wrapping, with no plastic in sight - even the tape used! Super impressed that I could recycle it all.

everything as described and delivered fast
The order process has been very chaotic since two of my 9 items were sold out despite them still being available on the website and one item broke inside the package (Which seems to happen frequently, acrodung to other reviews). So one third of my order has been messed up. Between the payment and the delivery almost three weeks passed with no answer to the questions about the order status - however the given products are good and exactly how they’ve been described. Unfortunately a delayed delivery, missing/unavailable items and broken pieces are not a good experience and I will not order again.
The designs are awesome and real.
1) my order was 10 Days late. I ordered a just in time Christmas present. I was assured the same day by customer care that it would arrive on time (10 days). The next day I had cold feet and called CS again and said that it had been shipped (a polite suck it up buttercup). I received a shipping notice that it was actually shipped 3 days after my email said it was shipped. It arrived 10days after Christmas.
2) the Canadian price on the Website was understated by 15%. The charges are in US $ and have very little to do with the real costs.
3) CS ghosted me in January
Received broken mugs….and not cheap mugs. Have tried every single way to contact them….phone, email, chat, Facebook…..not a single response. It’s disgraceful!!!!!!! Won’t EVER go near them again and feel cheated.
Worst customer service I ever came across
I wanted to buy on this website and then I saw a knife description saying "Made in Japan". As I know that this knife is 100% made in China... I can no longer trust what this website is promoting.
Feel scammed! Website states delivery within 1-2 working days and yet I've been waiting 9 weeks and still no sign of my order!! I tried contacting them via multiple emails, website contact forms, facebook messenger, twitter and instagram and had no response back! I have no idea whether I'm ever going to receive my order or money back! All I want is a reply from customer services to reassure me that my order will be on its way soon. Order no: 37404
First rate customer service. I bought a Konro grill which got held in customs who wanted 120 quid in income duty (it was coming from the Netherlands so i assume this is a brexit thing?). When I queried it the Oriental Shop simply paid my tax and my marvellous grill turned up two days later. Expensive but worth it - its incredible.
Very rude customer service. Delivery took more than a month.. very disappointed. when it finally arrived it was well packed though and nice product.
We've got the broken dishes from them and never received the money back. Simply ignoring our emails and calls.
