Very friendly and helpful CSR. No complaints here. Kristi helped me get a direct allotment set up. I'll hold the last star until I see what happens with the processing. If that goes well, I'll have no issues with giving them five stars ✨ 👍🇺🇸
This is my second time of being a customer at TMS. This time it has been different. After much hassle I finally got the automatic payment to be withdrawn from my bank. My payment is due on the 3rd, but as it was the July 4th holiday they didn't work. No one took out the payment, but tried to charge me a late fee. I paid by phone. This month, They didn't even request the payment according to my bank. Yet want a late fee when I pay by phone. I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy.

I will give them that they have great customer service and very respectful but when it comes to them messing up and giving the wrong information by several agents, they do nothing to rectify it. I should be able to borrow from.my escrow if need be. It's my money and it will be sent to me at the end of the year if everything is paid and current so I don't understand why I can't
use it when I need it now. They have turned it on me and put me in the position to possibly lose my house as I am on medical leave. I have emailed and they have gone unanswered. I'm very angry right now.

I have tried everything to switch from E- statements to paper statements. I don't have time to waste on the phone for an hour or more. I've tried e-mailing with no reply. It is impossible to sign in to my e-statement account. I use the right ID and password but it will just not open. E-statements are no good if you can't open your account. Will be re-financing very soon!!!

I have to admit my experience with The Money Source was coupled in part by a truly ridiculous experience with Better Mortgage Co, but even so, I feel compelled to post this. I received a letter in the mail today indicating that The Money Source would be purchasing home insurance on my behalf because I had none on file. I went to the website indicated and, lo and behold, my insurance was on file right in their records. I called them, waited on hold (no customer service email was provided on the site or on the letter), and spoke to a woman who informed me that "the information from the website didn't transfer to the system" and didn't apologize once. I had to waste time in the middle of a work day to fix this. They essentially made an error and were threatening me with purchasing expensive insurance on my behalf unless I jumped through hoops and called them during business hours to point out their mistake. Very unprofessional.
Edit: I replied to the response from the company below and...drum roll please...THEY NEVER RESPONDED! Should have guessed as much.

I have been run around for months now on getting my homeowners insurance removed and the payment adjusted. I filled out the form I was emailed and email it right back and talked to Ben and a few supervisors that each guaranteed a call back to resolve the issue. I left several messages, emails, etc and Ben has never responded or the others . In addition, since I requested the insurance be taken out of escrow and I would pay outside of the money source, they not only took out the annual homeowners amount plus an additional $500 and I was told oh so what it happens. you need to wait now for the refund from the insurance carrier on their overpayment mistake. All of this during the pandemic and my house payment has not been adjusted as promised on the 9th. And now I am being ignored and getting no response.

KRISTI WAS AMAZING SO HELPFUL SO RESPONSIVE FIXED EVERYTHING WOW
Wanted to give a special shout out to Ms. Kristi Schleicher. She help me resolve a issue I have been dealing with for over 5 months.
What I appreciate the most was her sense of urgency and level of communication!! Even tho the issue wasn't her fault she handled it and got me in connect with my load agent!! She makes me believe your slogan "Where people matter" I think that's it! The wait time is still beyond crazy!
Kristi was very helpful and followed up with me regularly. very happy with level of customer service.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LENDER!
I would give zero stars if I could! My mortgage was switched to The Money Source through my original lender 2 years ago. I have had a few issues (not on my end) that have lead me to waste my very valuable time to call and get them corrected...which is annoying enough. In that time, I have had this company call me probably every other month with some "partner" standing by on the line to offer me some refinance deal. The first time was not even 6 months into my original loan! Each time I have informed them that I was not interested and to remove me from their list. However, today I was not so nice. This is nothing short of harassment! How can you tell a company to remove your information from their "sales" list and then they NOT comply?? I am reporting their practices to the BBB and consulting an attorney! If I wasn't planing on selling my home in the next year, I would definitely be looking into a refinance with another company!

We are in the midst of refinancing our mortgage to move away from these morons. This morning they called saying our payment was late. Well I know we always send the payment in early.
It turns out that whoever processed our payment applied the entire payment towards the principal, so that makes our payment past due.
My wife spent almost an hour on the phone trying to get this sorted out.
Our new loan guy kept calling asking if he have made the payment. We had told him several times yes we have. We thought there was something wrong with him. It turns out it was the The Money Source screwing up. We will be glad to be done with them.

Kristi has always been very respectful, and accessible to us with our questions. Even during a period of social distancing, she has been available for any of our issues. This has made selling our home much easier.
Thank you Kristi!
THIS COMPANY IS A BIG FRAUD.
Worst Company I have ever dealt with. These people are repeat liars and fraudsters. I have been trying to get my escrow refund since last 3 months but get lied every time that refund has been sent. Now I paid off the loan and they are still holding on escrow balance. I got lied again last week that refund will be issued in a day or 2. As per T&C, they need to refund escrow balance after loan paid off in 10 business days. That time has passed and no refund issued yet.
Reporting to SEC now.....

Angela Stalzer was great. We had a renovation draw in our mortgage which The Money Source purchased from another lender.
There were issues with the draw and she called and emailed me to update me with each step and issue that occurred.
Very professional, but pleasant and social at the same time.
Thank you.
Randy
Kristi truly cares about what you need and she went above and beyond to make sure my concerns were addressed. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their point of contact for customer service.
My mortgage was recently transferred to TMS. I can say that this whole transfer process as well as the way Ms. Kristi handled is absolutely commendable.
When I noticed that my payment was not posted right away Ms. Kristi handled issues professionally and important part is I was communicated in a very timely manner. Professional, punctual and dedicated is how I will rate Ms. Kristi's service.
Glitchy website/app that messed up my autopay, sent me 0 notifications(!), then dinged my credit score. Called in to a 2 hour wait to be told that they wouldn't do anything about it.

The Worst Customer service I have ever had!!!!.. If you have your Home loan with them, get out quickly. We have been dealing with them for almost 7 months, When we closed on our new loan on Oct, The Closing attorney they assigned, Did not send the payoff of the old loan until Dec 18th Now because of their wonderful johnny on the spot attorney. I now have a 30 Day delinquency on my credit report. STILL! BTW they said they took care of this with the other bank back in December.. Just words.. No actions... GET OUT NOW!!!!

Our loan was recently sold to TMS. We’ve always paid more than owed each month with our previous company and were paid up approximately 5 months in advance. And we’ve always made two payments a month. When TMS took over, we lost those 5 months, which was annoying enough. But we kept up with paying the same amount we always did with the original loan company, more and twice a month. But now I’m fed up. I opened a statement today showing over double our regular payment is due. The statement says “Monthly payment: $X.00”, “Year to date: >5000”. SO, how is it that we’ve paid damn near $6k this year already when we really should’ve only paid just barely over $4k but they’ve sent us a statement saying we need to pay almost $2k for our next payment?? BS! They are going to get exactly what they’ve been getting. Not a dime more. We are NOT behind. We are ahead! Screw this company.

I refinanced my mortgage and my loan transferred to "The Money Source". Of course, I looked up and found the reviews to be extremely concerning. I spoke to the company I refinanced with and they explained that TMS was an interim servicer. I wanted to reach out to TMS to find out if they were an interim servicer; however, you have to hit 950 buttons during their very painful IVR process. One you get through that web, you're on hold for at least 20 minutes. Instead of waiting, I decided to send an email, which of course they never responded too.
I am so paranoid that this company will not process payments on a timely basis, let alone an extra principal payment.
So far, the 3.4 stars out of 5 support this awfully ran mortgage servicer. I'd pay more money to get out of there if I could.
