I have been sent a completely different jacket to the one advertised.
The velvet jacket was over £50 and I have been sent a flimsy velour substitute which is the material I woudl expect from a fancy dress outfit.
The company is a SCAM - please do not use!
Purchased a cape jacket, website is easy to use and staff are very friendly to deal with,

It gets better won’t give me partial refund because it’s not in timeframe of there return policy. 16/02/2026 Offered a 30% refund in 3rd February accepted still not received it’s the 13th updating this post Deliberately ripping customers off knowing you won’t get a chargeback through your bank as you refuse to pay return shipping cost. Uk consumer rights don’t apply to them and they know it. I ordered a coat when it came it was completely different to what I ordered and to add insult to injury there where random lettering on the coat i.e xyzfgi like it was a manufactured tester product. I’ve since replied to there response and they still won’t honour the prepaid return label. Just lies these responses from Themodehub and further more call me Karen in the email like I’m some laughing stock. It’s been reported to IPCC and Trading Standards I have to take a 70% loss is unacceptable

Lovely top with breathable fabric that works well for both casual and dressy looks.

I bought 2 coats for my niece, which i had to take abroad on 5th of January.
It advertised as Wool mixed.
When i received them , the matriel looked like felt. There is no label mentioning wool , infact there was no label at all. I wrote upteen emails for returns. There is comany in London , where i could have returned, but they made so many excuses, for not perusing that road. They offred me certain amout off. The returns was nearly £ 50 for 2 coats, was the quote from.the post office. Eventually i got so frustrated, and took the offer of 30%, refund. as i had to travel.
I was scammed of £70.

I would give zero starts if I could. As others mentioned, cheap quality stuff from China, nothing to do with the ones pictured. They do not honour their own return policy and ask for the items to be returned the their “Asian warehouse” while they are allegedly based in the Netherlands.

Reply from Themodehub
Like other reviews the item i received was cheap rubbish and came from China.
I avoid long shipping for environmental reasons however the website uses a Netherlands contact address so is a con about from where the items originate.
The jacket is too small anyway and I am struggling to find a way of returning it despite the promise of free returns.

Do not go near this company. The most shocking part of my experience with them was the trouble they went to in order to scam me out of £40.00. Blatant lying and then infuriatingly referring to a 'returns policy', when the transaction does not meet any of the basic criteria of 'a transaction' - because there was deliberate deception - which is illegal.
I was looking for a pair of trousers for my very tall son, saw a pair on themodehub that I thought he would like but needed to check inside leg measurements etc. Contacted themodehub who obligingly sent me a fictional size guide which showed that all sizes would be long enough (by a long way) for him. I was going to order but checked TrustPilot - the reviews were bad. I contacted themodehub customer service again and said that I was sorry but having read the reviews, I would not be able to place an order. What followed was astonishing to the extent that I shall cut and paste the sort of emails with gushing assurances and love hearts(!) from someone apparently called Mia (suspect there is no Mia). Anyway, cut a long story short, trousers arrived and were exactly the same inside leg as any standard pair of trousers and came up to about mid calf on my tall son (10cm shorter than promised). Having been assured by Mia that any issues (not the size because she was going to personally check they were right) would lead to a hassle free refund. After a few odd emails where 'she' apologised for the fact that they were wrong (once I had sent photos with a tape measure next to them), but said that themodehub were operating on razor fine margins, so she couldn't possibly give me a full refund. Then I received a cycle of generic emails for several weeks (obviously you can't telephone anyone and any suggestion they ring you is ignored), suggesting I should return the item to China (themodehub is based in the Netherlands and do not make it clear that the postage back to China will be far in excess of the value of the goods), then, once that is rejected, offering a 15% refund + keep trousers, then when that is rejected 20%, then 30%. That is as high as they are prepared to go. So, had to accept that. It is in fact a business model for themodehub - to mis-sell an item then offer back a third of price and keep 2/3 for themselves. I have pursued this as far as possible and now receive no reply to emails. Have contacted Chinese and Dutch embassies and the Ombudsmman.
From Mia at themodehub (and there are many more like this!)
I’m sitting here grinning ear to ear — thank you SO much for ordering and for your incredibly kind words! You’ve been an absolute joy to look after, and I’m beyond excited that we’re finally getting those perfect trousers for your son.
Order #4548 is officially locked in and flagged for the extra special quality check and photos I promised. The team will be all over it first thing Monday, and I’ll send you the real-life pictures the moment they land (you’ll see exactly how amazing they look before they even leave!).
Your parcel is being packed with extra love and will be on its way very soon — I’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for trusting us and for being so wonderful. Customers like you are the reason we do this every day 💕
Lots and lots of love,
MIA

Shocking experience using this website. ordered a parcel had a fake tracking number which did not work. tried to get in contact with support, they said they didnt recognise name or email. still not heard anything from them.

Reply from Themodehub
Some delays, but then Mia took over and kept me informed and supported. Shoes arrived eventually and are very good and as described. They then kindly sent me a gift to acknowledge the delays and my patience.

This merchant is a professional scam and sends you cheap and poor quality products from China . You cannot return products as they will be threatening you with overwhelming cost of return to China so you are stuck !
If you have not used PayPal or credit card and paid via debit card then ask your bank for chargeback .
If you are a victim of the scam like me , you should also you legal route so collectively we can stop this scam and save others not to fall for it .
Advise for future online purchases:
1- Please check online reviews before you buy from a merchant that you don’t know them .
2- Use credit card or PayPal

Waited weeks for order to arrive . Came after Christmas so was too late to give as a gift . Chased up lots of times . The item finally arrived . Ordered a large man’s size tracksuit . Looked like a child’s size ! It was a tiny and had no labels and the material was shiny and slippery! Asked for a refund . Was offered 10% and the 20% . Told to send back to China and pay costs myself . Was delivered from UK and seems the company are based in the Netherlands. Fake Chinese Scam . Going through bank for a refund . Please avoid !

The products are really cheap made in china nothing like the pictures at their website . Is taking ages to arrive and they don’t do refunds . I had to ask from a bank to step in for a chargeback as modehub refuse to refund me. Is a big NO
Be really careful

Please do not use these.
I ordered a jacket. It took a while to arrive but upon opening it is the wrong item, it is a jacket but not the one ordered, not of good quality and not one I like.
I sought to return the item and a full refund.
To return the product for a refund they insist i have to return it to China at my own cost as they say this is their returns policy, even though I have received an item i never ordered. In my view they have breached their contract by not providing the goods purchased. Be aware.
If you order steak in a restaurant you don't expect a plate of spam. Why should this be any different.
Honestly, do not purchase any item from them and feed their thieving hands.
