My experience with overseas job processing through The Migration Bureau
I am sharing my personal experience so others can make an informed decision.
In September 2024, I signed an agreement with The Migration Bureau for overseas job processing (initially Croatia). I made two payments totaling ₹1,69,657.
After more than six months of delays, the destination was changed to Slovakia. In May 2025, I was provided with employment-related documents claimed to be issued by a Slovak employer.
When I independently verified these documents with the employer, I received written responses stating that the documents were not issued by them. After this, contradictory explanations were provided.
No work permit, embassy appointment, or employment confirmation was ever completed.
The matter has since been reported to relevant authorities in India and Europe for review. I am still awaiting a fair resolution.
I recommend that anyone considering overseas job services verify every document independently and proceed cautiously.
