I regularly test offshore banks and…

I regularly test offshore banks and alternative financial service providers, so I’m very familiar with how these institutions normally operate. Unfortunately, my experience with The Kingdom Bank (TKB) has been one of the worst, most frustrating, and most unprofessional encounters I’ve had in the entire industry.

I transferred money from my Xapo account to my TKB account expecting a straightforward transaction. Instead, the funds have been stuck in “pending” status for an absurd amount of time with absolutely no explanation. No proactive update, no clear reason, no transparency, just a frozen transaction and a bank that suddenly goes mute when you ask the most basic question: Where is my money?

Customer Service,if you can even call it that, is a complete joke. Ali, the representative I was dealing with, sent nothing but generic, irrelevant template messages that had nothing to do with my situation. Not once did they address the actual issue. And the moment you push for real answers, cite their own terms and conditions, or ask them to clarify their internal procedures, they instantly shut down. They hide behind vague “protocols,” pretend there’s some mysterious internal review happening, and give zero concrete details. It feels more like stalling than any legitimate banking process.

On top of that, the pricing structure of this bank is outrageous. They proudly advertise themselves as some kind of premium offshore banking solution, yet they charge nearly €100 for a basic debit card and €10 for a virtual card. For fees that high, you would expect at least competent customer support, or at the very least transparent handling of your money. But no. It’s expensive and dysfunctional at the same time, which is a terrible combination.

Even basic functionality is restricted. They won’t even let you transfer small amounts of money. The minimum amount I’m allowed to send by bank transfer is €50. For a bank operating internationally and charging some of the highest fees I’ve seen, the limitations are laughable.

And then there’s the communication, or lack thereof. After I started asking logical questions and demanding clarity, customer service simply stopped responding altogether. I reached out through their chat system. Nothing. I tried WhatsApp. Still nothing. They just went silent, leaving me with a transaction stuck in limbo and no idea where my funds are.

Right now, I’m missing €110. Thankfully, it’s not a huge amount, but that’s EXACTLY the point: if this bank can’t even handle a small, basic transfer without losing the money and then ignoring the customer, why would anyone trust them with larger sums? Imagine sending €1,000… €10,000… €50,000. Based on my experience, I have zero confidence that the money would be safe, traceable, or recoverable.

I’ve tested numerous offshore banks over the years, some great, some mediocre, some disappointing, but The Kingdom Bank ranks among the absolute worst. The combination of high fees, nonexistent support, zero transparency, and overall incompetence is genuinely alarming. It feels less like a bank and more like a black hole for your money.

My advice is simple: stay as far away from this institution as possible.There are many offshore banking options out there that operate professionally and transparently. The Kingdom Bank is not one of them. My experience has put them firmly and permanently on my personal never again / stay away” list.

Card fee paid, but no card ever delivered

I paid ~€84.47 for a physical debit/credit card a month ago. It’s been more than 4–5 weeks — and I still haven’t received the card, nor any shipment tracking info. Despite contacting support multiple times via email and live-chat, I only get generic replies like “we forwarded your ticket to the relevant department.” Zero updates, zero accountability. That’s unprofessional and unacceptable from any bank.

This bank delays payments constantly

This bank delays payments constantly. My outgoing transfers sit “pending” for days while they perform unclear “compliance checks” that aren’t communicated properly. Their customer service is slow, evasive, and sometimes just flat-out unhelpful. I do not trust them with significant sums.

I paid €84.47 for a physical card (card-issuing fee), but after more than a month, I still haven’t received it — and they haven’t even given me a DHL tracking number. I’ve opened more than a dozen support tickets, but no one takes ownership. It’s “forwarded to the relevant department” every single time. Unprofessional and irresponsible.

Kingdom Bank seems to have no real…

Kingdom Bank seems to have no real physical presence — their “registered office” is just a virtual address. When I raised that concern, support told me they’re a “fully licensed digital bank,” but that’s not enough when my money is missing. I’m furious that they admitted errors but didn’t resolve anything after months.

Borderline fraudulent

On the 10th of October I sent funds to TKB via their 3rd party provider WorldPay. TKB did not inform of any change to their receiving bank so I was unaware that TKB no longer used WorldPay. 5 days later and the funds were still not in my TKB account I contacted TKB to be told they are using a different provider now and I would have to do a recall from my bank to WorldPay.
Simply unacceptable treatment of a client. Almost a month later and still no sign of my funds. One would think that TKB would reach out to WorldPay on my behalf as it is their provider, and I am not a client of WorldPay. But...this does not seem to have happened.
If you are reading this review and looking to sign up with TKB, don't. Simply do not waste your time, or money. It is too risky.
I continue to email and message TKB every other day and just get excuses. I will be resorting to legal measures if not resolved within the next 2 weeks.

Still No Card After Paying €84.47 — No Response from Support

Update: Oskar from support personally reached me rectified the issue! They Shipped another card for free via priority mail!
Very much happy now!
I ordered a physical card from The Kingdom Bank Corporation and paid €84.47 (USD 100) on 18 September 2025 as a Card Issuing Fee.
It’s been over a month, and I’ve still not received the card or even the DHL tracking number to check its delivery status.

I have contacted support more than 12 times through both email and live chat (Zendesk). Each time I’m told, “We have forwarded your question to the relevant department,” but no one ever provides any tracking update.

My support ticket number is #73228, yet no one has taken responsibility or followed up properly. I’m not asking for a refund — I just want the tracking details for my shipment so I can locate the card myself.

I hope this public post gets the attention of the Kingdom Bank team to finally share the DHL tracking number and resolve this unnecessary delay.
