The product was shipped with a significant delay, and on top of that, I received an additional invoice from FedEx.
This happened because the product was not actually in stock at The Keratin Store. Instead, they purchased the product from a supplier in Brazil and provided my personal information to the supplier so that the supplier could charge me for the shipping from Brazil to the United States.
I had already paid for shipping at the time of my purchase. However, because The Keratin Store did not have the product in stock, I ended up being charged an additional FedEx fee for international shipping.
None of this was disclosed at the time of purchase. I was not informed that the product was out of stock, that it would be purchased from another supplier in Brazil, or that I would be responsible for an additional international shipping charge.
This is completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing. I have already contacted The Keratin Store about this issue, but I have received no response. They don't even provide a phone number for customer service.
I would not recommend this website to anyone. Customers should be clearly informed about where their products are coming from and about any additional charges before completing a purchase.
