The Hills Saint John is set in a beautiful location with stunning views, but our experience was mixed. The villa itself was nice, though we had issues like mold in the spa tub and some non-functioning outlets. The maintenance staff weren't very friendly and left the tub messy after addressing the mold issue. Directions to the villa were unclear, and without a host to meet us, we struggled to find our way initially. The food, although pricey, was disappointing on taste. Driving to the property was challenging due to steep hills, and the request to conserve resources felt a bit rude given the nightly cost. Overall, the setting is lovely, but there are areas that need improvement.

The villa is very nice. The maintenance staff isn’t very friendly. The spa tub had mold coming out of the jets when used the maintenance man came made a mess in the tub and left it for me to clean. The water is warm but not hot. Some of the outlets do not work in the Villa. Because there is confusion of where the villa is located the host should meet at the property to bring you in. Which didn’t happen and it took us some time to figure it out. They have food you can purchase from the club at a high rate which everything is expensive on the island we expected that but the food is awful! The host offers you a free food item from the club house our cheese pizza was burnt and taste gross. Then I purchased 2 dinner meals it was also horrible tasting So 400 dollars went to waste. Again the place is nice but a scary drive up steep hills with some sliding backwards if traffic is coming at you. Also they ask you to turn off the a/c and conserve water when you’re paying $1000 a night to stay there I thought that was a bit rude.

My stay at The Hills couldn't have been more memorable. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right decision booking a stay at this incredible property. The views are second-to-none and the amenities including the clubhouse, pool and full gym were fantastic. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located - you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you stayed anywhere but The Hills on beautiful St.John.

If you are looking for an easy getaway in St. John's for a medium size group, you could not get better than this. Our villa was private with incredible sunset views and very spacious for our family of 4 plus au pair. It was so great to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer you wouldn't get staying at a hotel. Everything about our trip went smoothly and easy is just what we wanted for this much needed R&R trip.

Our second time at The Hills did not disappoint! Great unit, great view, great location & great support from the Hills staff! We can't wait to return again!

It is a beautiful villa in a great location - if you have rented a car. It is the perfect layout for multiple families or couples. The views from the balconies are stunning!

Beautiful view and property. We loved the floor plan, the snack bar and the A/C that worked great! The location was really convenient to Cruz Bay. The unit needed to be stocked with more essentials-kitchen poorly equipped and not enough towels etc. We felt like everything was just the bare minimum and ended up buying a lot of things we thought should’ve been in condo-like salt and pepper. Overall, a great stay. Thank you!

Everything was wonderful and the location couldn’t be better! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

House was great. Very comfortable. Use kitchen a lot. Was not stocked with a lot of cooking supplies(pots, pans and tools).
Love the community. Perfect spot for sunsets. Gym was great, pool was great. Didn’t use bar/restaurant. My family went in there the first day and was greeted by a very unfriendly bartender. So we went somewhere else. So many other options in town or just stay in at home. Everything else was great. Paula, our greeter was great and so was Ginger from reservation/management company. Thank you for a great vacation.

Everything we needed was provided in the villa and the property management team was exceptional! Easy to book and they stayed in constant communication.

Overall a great stay! Gardenia Villa was nice and had what we needed. We enjoyed the pool and bar/cafe at the pool. We actually ended up eating there two different nights during our stay. The views from the villa and entire property were amazing! I would definitely stay again.

Amazing villa, marble floors, real shingles, top of the line appliances, everything was perfect and the management team was very professional. We loved every moment!

Grandeur Villa of The Hills was Grand! Breath taking view from living area, 2 of the 3 bedrooms, and balcony. Accommodations were stylish, roomy, and comfy. Laundry room in Villa added to comforts of home.
Downside was when electricity in city went down, a generator was not available as a back up. Also, no place on property to deposit waste generated; had to transport to city dumpsters.

The property grounds beautiful and can not beat the sunset view ms from the Hills however I was disappointed with my stay this time and have stayed at other condos on the Hills many times. I was there for 5 days and 2 of the evenings no power and there were no storm so seemed pretty odd. Also they have generators so not sure why they didn’t kick on. For the price u pay u would expect more . There are other options closer to town just as nice and even a little less expensive. After this stay at the Hills I don’t think I will book there again.

Beautiful place. Great view. Plenty of living space. Lots of spices to cook with. Comfy beds. Elegant bathrooms. Loved it.
