This is the second time I have used this store for online purchases and their service has been second to none. I just purchased a Player Strat brand new and it arrived as described. Tony the Sales Director even threw in a free Fender gig bag for me and a free trem arm spring which is thoughtful as most strats don't even come with them now (so I'm told) or they just easily fall out! The guitar arrived on a Saturday with no weekend delivery charge and it was well packed with a thankyou note. All in all...very impressed.

Dropped my Acoustic off for a bit of tlc and picked up a different guitar. Brilliant work people. Action is now perfect. Pick up is far better but will be back soon for a new one fitted by your expert hands and I've done two gigs and not broken an E string yet, which has been a while since I've managed two gigs out of a top.E! Great work amd highly recommend these guys to fix up your guitar. Bought it from them a few years ago as well and got great service then as well 👍

Very friendly and helpful! I was a bus driver in need of public conveniences but nothing available! The guy behind the counter (I’m assuming the owner) was very accommodating and let me use the conveniences in his shop! I know this is nothing to do with guitars, but his customer service is spot on!

Ordered my brian may special 10.30 thurs arranged free set up with shop who also agreed to remove one spring from the trem block for a softer trem action at my request then delivered to me the next day friday lunchtime Amazing. Plays like a dream best ever customer experience

What a shame I can't give the guitar store 6 stars! 5 stars isn't enough.

First class guitar shop in every way, I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've only just discovered them and made an online purchase, but the team are so friendly, so knowledgeable, so efficient that I'm sure it won't be my only purchase.

My son took in a guitar into the Southampton store that desperately needed setting up. It wasn't unplayable but was pretty close. From my experience the nut needed adjusting as the strings were too high, the bridge similarly needed work, and the truss rod also needed adjusting. I knew what was needed but don't have the expertise to do it.

The same work was identified by Jamie in the store and additionally it was suggested the frets might need leveling and crowning but would not be able to tell until strings removed and truss rod released. A few days later we got a phone call with a detailed maximum estimate for the work (but would cost less if less work needed.) Agreed to go ahead. Finished week later and the guitar was transformed to an instrument with a really great action. Wasn't cheap but would have taken several hours work so good value for a quality job which turned the guitar into one that is a pleasure to play

Would I trust another instrument to them - without any doubt - they were open about what needed doing (most of which I knew was needed), quoted a fair maximum price, explained everything I asked about the work. And charged £25 less than maximum quote.

I've been a regular customer in The Guitar Store for a few years ever since I bought my first proper Electric Guitar from them, and I go in there to get equipment, sort out repairs or go in for advice on a number of different Guitar-y subjects. They sell a whole range of Acoustic and Electric guitars, and you can definitely find something for you, if you're a beginner or a Guitar Prodigy. They sell a huge range of top quality equipment, and the used items they have are fully functioning and feel brand new. They can cater for anyone's needs, right from a classical player to a metal shredder!

The pricing is really good too. I can go in there to get something I need without worrying that it's overpriced or that I'm being ripped off. They are purely there to help out Guitarists as best they can!

All the guys are fantastic, they're completely honest, really patient and actually know what they're talking about. They're really cool with helping you with your decisions and they give you relevant advice to what you're looking for. It really helps that they're friendly and chilled out all the time!

There's such an element of trust with these guys because they're so good at what they do, and I can't really imagine going anywhere else for my guitar equipment!
