I can’t get in contact with this business, so I thought I’d write this review instead.
I was looking for a face care routine that involved using products from black-owned businesses.
I wanted skincare products made with my complexion in mind, and I wanted to support a company that could provide that.
I bought some products from the Glow pot in December: a moisturiser, serum and eye cream.
I really liked the products and decided to buy some more of their products. Most of these were pre-ordered products, and I expected to receive them in late January to early February.
The products never came.
I emailed them in February to find out what was going on. I was told that there was a slight delay with customers' orders being sent out due to problems arising with shipping concerning covid and that the order would arrive mid-February.
It didn’t arrive.
I sent them another email. This time I was told that they were having issues with a supplier and that it was now a legal matter. They didn’t know when the products would arrive. They did offer me a full refund or the option of a discount on their website.
I thought long and hard about this. Normally, I would have requested a refund, but because I liked their products and wanted to support a black-owned business, I opted for the discount.
The discount didn’t come at first, and I had to send them an email to chase it up. I did get the discount code, but I didn’t buy anything from their site as I was still waiting on the products I’d purchased.
Still no update from them. I sent another email. I asked them again when would I be expecting my products to come. I also told them that the lack of communication was unacceptable. They hadn’t once reached out to me, and I was left waiting in limbo.
They apologised but couldn’t offer an update on when I would receive my products.
It’s July now. And still nothing. On the eighth of July, I sent another email requesting a refund. The email bounced. Their email address is no longer in use, and they’ve taken down all their social media, too.
I have no way of getting in contact with them, so I decided to write this review to see whether anybody could help me with this.
I’m disappointed, to say the least, with how this situation has turned out. Not only has my face care routine been put on hold for over six months, but it’s also made me reluctant to support these types of businesses in the future.
I spent £65 on products that I haven’t received yet.
If anybody is in a similar situation or can help me get in contact with the owners, I would be grateful. I’d like to get a refund and move on from this.

The email doesn’t work and they have deleted all social media accounts. Very disappointed in the brand and won’t be shopping here again even if they come back better. Communication is awful and they let their customers down. Try to support a small business but their customer service is terrible

Very bad communication
Before I purchased I was aware that items would not be dispatched till end of Jan/early Feb. I have sent an email via the website and one directly to their email just to find out when I would get items. I have had NO REPLY. As of 14th February I have only received trustpilot review request from the Glowpot.com and NOTHING about my order.
I try to support small businesses, but when they don't communicate it leaves me doubting my decision to do so.

I placed an order for £62 on 5th…
I placed an order for £62 on 5th December and have not received any of the products I ordered. Firstly I was advised that one of the products would not be ready until January and no they could not dispatch the two moisturisers I ordered for some technical reason. In January after I contacted them again I received an email advising the orders are being slowly dispatched from 25th but no further information about when I will receive mine. I sent another email reminding the company about good customer care by communicating with customers waiting for products. I received an email essentially telling at this point apologising and telling me not to worry I will recumbent products. Due to the delay I bought another skincare product and requested a refund from Glow Pot and to my dismay my email bounced back. I 100% support small business but I don’t want to be throwing away my money and no I certainly will not be recommending them.

I finally managed to arrange a reimbursement after going through the pay portal used by the company.

Have been using this now since I bought it and can’t see any difference.. still have dark circles and it stings a bit every time I apply it.. not happy
Terrible
Terrible, don’t order from this company. I bought a scrub which came used. It has been over a month of back and forth and they have neither sent me a new product as promised or refunded my money. Highly unprofessional, to send items that weren’t quality controlled back they don’t even provide a return label. Extremely disappointed

Skincare that works
I have been using the Orange and Aloe Toner and the Ace serum since September. I have seen a vast improvement in my skin, I am very impressed they will surely be staples in my future skincare routine. 😌

Cucumber cleanser, aloe toner & ACE moisturiser!
I bought the cucumber cleanser, aloe Vera and orange toner and the ACE moisturiser. I LOVE LOVE the products! The ACE moisturiser is the BEST one I’ve ever used and I have used a lot of face creams/ moisturisers over the years. The cucumber cleanser leaves my skin soft and hydrated, the toner preps my face well for the moisturiser! A very happy customer, please don’t discontinue any of the products. The service and quality is excellent!
