A bit disappointed.

I have to admit to being slightly disappointed when I ordered from The Forge website. The item was released on Saturday and they shipped it on Friday so it would arrive in time. Unfortunately, they ship via Parcelforce which meant that my parcel was held by the couriers over the weekend, while I was in and waiting for it, and then they attempted delivery on Monday when I was back to work.

Additionally, The Forge stuck a sheet on the outside of the parcel with the contents listed, along with the price! I don't particularly want delivery people to know the cash price of the contents of my parcels.

I like the store itself if you're in the area, but other stores send via Royal Mail 24 which means that if you order a pre-order you get it on the day of release, not at some point the week after.

Dave the Store Manager has cultivated a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere since opening in 2018. The Forge is a well stocked and brilliantly priced hobby store with fantastic gaming space.
