I ordered 3 Christmas gift boxes to be…only 2 were delivered to the correct people.

I ordered 3 Christmas gift boxes to be delivered before Christmas. Two arrived butthe third was sent out without a number street address...just the street and the wrong last name (that was the last name of another recipient). The person receiving the gift that was not delivered, notified me in early January...I started calling the Fruit Company and was told their tracking computers were not working and to call back. This went on for 3 weeks...finally they informed me that UPS delivered the package to an unknown person on January 8 and that it was my fault because the street address was not correct. I asked why they sent it out without street numbers and that I was deserved to have an order delivered...they said I could buy another ! and that they would give me free shipping. Who would pay again for items not delivered. The people who did not get their order were already in their system. This is a problem between UPS and the Fruit Company..but they wish to put the blame on myself rather than sending a replacement of some sort.

A totally botched order.

Well, we are recovering from a bad auto accident and have so much time on our hands so we decided to send Christmas presents from The Fruit Company. After finding the right baskets to send, we picked dates the second week in December, 2024. Unfortunately, I was advised that my Christmas baskets were being delivered today, November 13. I'm so disappointed and will never order from The Fruit Company again, especially after I called Customer Service and the girl was so rude, nasty and treated me like I was ignorant.

Ridiculous price

Ridiculous price. 4 oranges that cost nearly $9 each that were not as good as supermarket oranges for $1. Total rip off

Irregular fruit sizes/quality varied

My brother ordered a gift basked from The Fruit Company through Costco as a Christmas gift. A piece of fruit was so small I think it was the smallest I have ever seen even in a regular grocery store. Even though there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee on the label, when I called the number on the label (800-995-2292 but should be 800-955-2292) the phone number was incorrect. I had to find the correct number on the internet. When I reached an agent, David (I was very polite the entire time), he/they refused to send a new basket without my brother's direction and wanted to call my brother to see if he would like a refund or a replacement basket sent! Really? Yet the agent said the numbers for my brother were disconnected so I called my brother to get him on the line and added the agent to the phone line. We arranged a refund but I will never buy from this company again and I recommend others avoid them as well. And, I certainly didn't want my brother to think I didn't appreciate his kind efforts. Try Wine Country Gift Baskets instead.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Company wrapped fruit boxes too tightly so they would fit into a smaller shipping box. This resulted in all fruit being bruised. Outer cartons were in perfect condition, so fault definitely lies in The Fruit Company packers.
Said they would resend fruit to my gift recipient, but never did!
Upon further research, I see poor/rotted fruit is a common complaint for this company.
That’s crazy since their company name makes one think that fruit is their best item….wrong, it’s actually their worst item!
I would never order from them again.

Very upset

Very upset. Sent my daughter in PA a fruit basket with a teddy bear and a ballon for her and her new son. She never received the bear or the balloon. Told them and they said they’d resend a new one and it should of been there today. Once again nothing! If I knew this was gonna happen, I would’ve made something myself. At least I know it would of gotten to them! Not a way to run Any business will Not be buying from them again!

Do not order from this company if you…

Do not order from this company if you are sending a gift and want it to arrive on time.

I have ordered from The Fruit Company twice, once for my Father in Law for Christmas, he never received the gift and once for my Mother on Mother’s Day and although I ordered 2 weeks prior to Mothers Day, May 14, I chose and paid for the option for Mother’s Day arrival that the company offered which was May 9th - May 14. The gift was shipped on May 8th from the other side of the country via ground delivery and it arrived 2 days AFTER Mothers Day!

The company takes no responsibility for their side of this and blames it completely on USPS.

Not good fruit

Fruit arrives and the box is always torn apart, the fruit no longer chilled and sometime moldy. Just got peaches, overripe and tasteless. Not a good source of good fruit
