The Forest Distillery has now relocated to join our sister Gin Distillery at the iconic Cat & Fiddle within a beautiful stone building in the Peak District National Park. We now distil single malt English Whisky in our state-of-the art 500 litre pot still. Our gin is recognised as one of the worlds finest spirits having won an unprecedented two separate double-gold medals at the San Francisco Spirit Awards. I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately the next day delivery turned into 5 days although I was updated frequently. A bit disappointing as i actually live in Macclesfield.

DPD are pretty hopeless
DPD are pretty hopeless! The sent me a message saying they were unable to deliver and would I pick it up from a point de retrait and an hour later they turned up. They always fail to find my house and I usually go to find them!

Fabulous products and great service.
I called ahead and asked about blankets. They let me know they had a variety and to come up. I drove up to the Cat & Fiddle and bought 2 large blankets for £35 each. Fantastic quality, super warm and lovely colours. And the girls were super helpful.

Quiet sad that no hot choclate take…
Quiet sad that no hot choclate take away drinks or snacks available anymore. We do like to pop over when in that area to look in the shop and get a drink. Also I bought the first cognac cask whisky for a gift but really would be nice to have some information with it.

Collecting my whisky
Went and collected my purchase, everyone very pleasant and helpful. The Cat and Fiddle is well worth a visit, great amazing scenery and superb shop with other items like woollen blankets and cushions.
Will go again for sure.

Professional service!
I accidentally put the wrong postcode on my order so someone at Forest Distillery made sure to call me to confirm my exact address before mailing the order.
They were very polite and very professional and I appreciate the extra step they took to avoid a mix-up.
The nifty cardboard packaging they use for the bottle is really great too! And a lot more friendly on the environment than plastic.
