LOVE!

Im giving them a 4 because they dud what they promised

Im giving them a 4 because they actually did immediately refund my money, and quickly (even though as a product I didn’t like the results from the thickening shampoo and conditioner).
I used it several times and it left my hair dirty feeling, dry and definitely not shiny. I could not style it; it was like limp straw. When I contacted the company they were very nice and they said you have to use it for a good while to see results. I was not willing to look awful to see if it would ever look better. The shampoo I had been using previously was also sulphate free and it worked really well for look, feel, and shine. I was hoping this new shampoo and conditioner would help my thinning hair. After reading reviews, I do see there are a few who said maybe their hair type didn’t work well with Earthling’s shampoo and conditioner. But they back up their promise.

I just got my first ever shampoo and…

I just got my first ever shampoo and conditioner bar! I love it, the shampoo lather felt luxurious and like a salon wash don't get me started on the mint scent! It smells like a peppermint plant (the ones that you can pull off the plant and chew on). I love this product, I am excited to see if my hair will stop thinning. My teenagers will love this!

Unfortunately did not work for me.

I wanted so much for this to work. My hair type is thick and wavy, but it's dry and weak. I decided to try this product hoping it could help rejuvenate my hair. Unfortunately it made it worse. My hair feels dryer, breaking easily, and knotting up. They do seem to have a quality product. It clearly does not work for all hair types.

I love the haircare products but too many issues make it too costly

I love the haircare products, but have had a couple of issues that have cost me money, and with an already expensive product, I don't feel safe to risk it any more. The first issue I had was admittedly my fault: I moved and must have updated my billing address for my credit card but not my shipping address. My shampoo and conditioner bars went to my old apartment where I was unable to retrieve them, and the representative I contacted was unhelpful other then explaining that I would have pay full price for a replacement order. At this time, I requested that they check to ensure I had no current subscriptions. They said I did not. I then placed an order for just a shampoo bar since I needed it and hadn't recieved anything. It is now over 3 months later and I've recieved an unexpected order for a shampoo bar and a moisturizer that I've never used in my life. Upon checking with customer service, they say I signed up for a subscription and recieved a discount on my previous order. No other solution offered other than to tell me how to cancel. I do not believe I signed up for a subscription
If I mistakenly did, I am more than happy to repay any discount I received and to return the products. I wont order from Earthling again unless they are able to make this right.

Terrible Customer Service

Worst customer service of any company I’ve dealt with! They don’t respond at all! I put an order in September 5, paid in full. I got a confirmation but it’s never been shipped. I’ve contacted them 3 times and NEVER got a response back. I can’t even ask for my money back. So upset with this company!

I have tried many other brands of bar…

I have tried many other brands of bar shampoo and conditioners and have come back to TheEarthling Company every time!!!
Absolutely LOVE their shampoo and conditioner bars for thinning hair! I have been using this product for about 4 months now and have seen a huge improvement in my hair, both the thinning, which my hair fall has stopped, and the condition of my hair is greatly improved!!!
I used the Coconut and vanilla scented ones, and just ordered the limited edition Maple sugar set, I will write a review on them after I have used them.

I love this shampoo and conditioner

I love this shampoo and conditioner! My hair has never felt so thick and full. I was struggling with the length, but I've noticed it grow a few inches after just a couple of months which is A LOT for me! My hair is super long and healthy! My new favorite brand

I was surprised at how much I like them!

I have thick, long hair of mixed texture (mostly wavy, with lots of fine strands), and many shampoos either strip and dry my hair out, making it frizzy, or they don't rinse well, leaving my hair greasy and weighed down. I had been seeing ads for The Earthling Co. for years, but was hesitant to try it, and this is the first shampoo and conditioner bars ive ever purchased. I got Sweet Sandalwood, and color me amazed. Not only is the smell fantastic, it also stays in my hair, and the lather is incredible! My hair is often fairly frizzy as soon as it dries, but after just the first wash, the frizz is noticeably less dramatic. After 2 washes, it was even better! My hair is soft, clean, light and not greasy, and feels and looks healthier. I wasn't expecting to love this product as much as I do, and will now be recommending it to friends and family! I will probably buy some as gifts as well, as I am thoroughly impressed. They're easy to use, though certainly each person will likely find their own preferences on how much and how to use. The shipping was super fast. I haven't had to contact customer service at all, so I have no input on that respect. 10/10 from me! (A 43 year old mom)

After multiple attempts to cancel my subscription with the earthling co, I continue to receive their products. Actually 2 bars a week apart, in the first week of May. Initially, I tried to slow my subscription, only to recieve more shipments. I love the product. I love the sandalwood scent, but have far more than I need. I will order when needed without subscription. I would not recommend subscribing with this company. They are either uneducated and unorganized, or greedy, when it comes to subscribing. Great product, but only order what you need. Either way, it is pricey.

To summarize what is going on: It appears that you've signed up for three separate subscriptions: one under a gmail address, which has now been cancelled after your request with our Customer Support Team and two under a live account. When you contacted our support team, it wasn't immediately known that two additional subscriptions existed as they weren't associated with the email address that came up in our system.

What we can do: A member of our management team will be in touch to review these details as well as work out a solution that works best for you. We really do want our customers to be satisfied with both the product and experience, and we want to assure you it is not our intention for erroneous shipments to be sent out. I'm very satisfied with The Earthling Co products.

I've been using the shampoo and the conditioner bars for about 8 months. I was seeing a lot of hair in my brush and thinning of my hair on top. I tried a few products (mostly sprays on my scalp) and nothing was helping. I love The Earthling Co bars and my hair loss has slowed significantly. I don't need to wash my hair as often and washing my hair requires very little of each product, so the bars are going to last a long time for me. I think it's a great product. I also use their deodorant, which I love because it's natural and doesn't contain aluminum. And it works!

Works well for me!

I am almost through my first shampoo and conditioner bars ordered. I chose the sea breeze scent. Its pleasant and not overpowering. I see a lot about the scents being bad and I cant speak to the others but the one I chose is great. I've used Routine which left my hair heavy and greasy after 1 day. I've used Prose which after 2 different adjustments left my hair limp and staticky. I have been using these bars for about 4 months now and I like them so much better. My hair isn't necessarily any shinier but it feels very soft and it seems thicker. Takes 3+ days to get greasy. Looks like they certainly dont work for everyone but they work for me! I also dont really understand the complaints about emailing in since you can login to your account and adjust anything. Address, frequency, products, etc.

I'm so irritated right now

I'm so irritated right now. I've been getting this shampoo for a little over a year now. At first I liked it, but then I just needed something different for my hair. When I went to cancel, they said my email didn't exist in their databanks, and I didn't have an account. Well, I have some sort of account because I get sales emails, they charge my bank, and I get the product. I tried to go to my bank and have them block the charge, but they want to charge me $30 to do it. (SMH) I finally just decided to get in contact with them, but YOU CAN'T CALL THEM. There is no phone number, you just have to wait on an email. This company is sketchy.

I bought my first set of shampoo and…

I bought my first set of shampoo and conditioner took the small questionnaire to determine what type I would need to work. Losing my silver grammy hair, dull, itchy scalp, and all out looking like the toupee on top of a broomstick. My hair needed the I believe the purple rain. Not sure. After the first washing, I notice a diff. in feel. After 2 months now and my hair is actually coming back. Yay! Feels so good and soft. So I am happy now, and my youngest grandson, 18, said grammy your hair looks nice. I will continue to use it, as I only was every 3rd day and its shoulder length. I cannot remember the date. its approx.

Bad smell

I ordered the coconut/vanilla shampoo and conditioner. I didn’t think that they smelled anything like coconut/vanilla and I found the smell very unpleasant so I canceled my subscription.

No allergic reactions or knots!

Hair length is mid back length, curly/ wavy depending on weather and can get pretty knotty… and I experience allergic reactions to just about all hair products. No allergic reaction here! Been using the earthling shampoo and conditioner bars in sandalwood. Been almost 2 months and I still have a few weeks left until the bars are gone. The shampoo bar leaves my hair feeling very clean. (I’m a school teacher and have a farm, so 2 showers a day is common place) After the conditioner I have ZERO knots! I was brave and let my hair air dry with out styling product (hand lotion) and the softness and curls were amazing! I have the sandalwood shampoo and conditioner on authorship (Amazon) and couldn’t be happier with my hair! ps, I’m 63 and letting my hair go gray.

Expensive Waste!

It seems almost everything others rave about, I got the opposite affect. The shampoo didn't lather very well, the STINKY (unscented) was worse than the vanilla as far as lathering goes. A third one I didn't even try. The condition bars didn't lather. It was too much work to try to apply to my hair. I even tried shaving some off to I could apply it. That ended up on the bottom of the tub until I cleaned it out. It didn't disolve! My hair got dry and brittle. The EWG rates most of The Earthling products listed there app as a number 4 (1 safe to 10 more hazzardous). I try to purchase items that are rates 1 or 2. I will be throwing out all the bars purchased. I purchased a Primal Life bar. My hair felt so much better after one use. I wasn't afraid I would break off more hair when I brushed it after my shower. The Earthling was expensive and a big waste of money.

Hello Debbie. We're very sorry to hear that this was your experience. I'd like to address a few of your points, as well as provide next steps.

The Unscented bar should not have a foul smell. As there are no fragrances added, the only scent would come from the ingredients which gives off a faint coconut oil smell. I've reported this feedback to the team as what you described is not normal.

While our shampoo bars are expected to lather, our conditioner bars would not which is standard to most conditioners (bar or otherwise). If the shampoo bars did not lather, that is not expected and would indicate an issue with the product you received.

As a note, you mentioned purchasing three variants but we were only able to locate two in your purchasing history so we can only speak to the products we see listed.

I see this purchase was made in April of 2024 and unfortunately I do not see that you contacted customer service. We have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee when purchasing our products, and I want to assure you that if contacted, we would have made this right. Game-Changer for Your Hair Care!

These bars are not only eco-friendly but also work wonders for my hair. My hair feels so clean, soft, and nourished after using them. I was skeptical if a bar could really work as well as regular shampoo, but I was proven wrong. They work better! My hair has more volume and is so much softer now. Plus I need less product to style it.

The scents are delightful without being overpowering, and a little goes a long way—these bars last much longer than traditional bottles!

Shipping was quick, and everything arrived beautifully packaged, with minimal waste. I also appreciate their transparency about ingredients and sourcing.

I highly recommend Earthling Co’s shampoo and conditioner bars! They’ve won me over completely!
