Best Sunday lunch in years!
I took my dad for Sunday lunch to The Eagle at Ladbroke Grove in London - the beer was fabulous, the food is absolutely first class, definitely the best lunch I had in years - congratulations to the Chef, very well done (btw, there is no lamb on your menu - what is that all about?). One glitch however: there is clearly not enough chefs working in the kitchen which impacted on the service, making it almost unbearably slow between the courses. Note to the owners of The Hippo Inns - hire more kitchen staff and we'll come back more often.
