Legendary Technics performance The SL1200 MK7 builds on the heritage of the industry-standard SL-1200 series while introducing new features specifically requested by DJs. It retains the precise feel, stability, and response that made Technics turntables the benchmark for club and scratch performance worldwide.
Advanced direct drive motor The redesigned coreless direct drive motor eliminates cogging for smoother platter rotation and improved playback accuracy. Adjustable torque settings allow DJs to customise platter response from classic MK2-style feel to higher torque performance for scratching and fast cueing techniques.
Enhanced DJ control The MK7 introduces adjustable brake speed, reverse playback functionality, and 78 RPM compatibility, expanding creative performance possibilities while maintaining the familiar Technics workflow trusted by generations of DJs.
Upgraded tonearm and pitch control An improved tonearm design enhances tracking stability and playback performance, even during demanding scratch routines. The digital pitch control system uses dedicated processing to accurately emulate the feel and precision of classic analogue Technics pitch faders.
Improved connectivity and reliability The SL1200 MK7 features detachable RCA audio cables, ground cable, and IEC power connection for easier setup, transport, and maintenance. The recessed rear connection panel helps protect cables and simplifies installation in club and live environments.
Customisable design LED lighting colour options can be customised using internal settings, allowing DJs and venues to personalise deck appearance and setup configurations.

These turntables are excellent as an owner of the mk2 and mk5 in the past the mk 7 are the best yet the coreless motor and the digital pitch make the mk7 the best technics have made and the way you can change the torque the strobe light and the brake speed is a plus well worth the money and without a doubt these are the most accurate turntables you can buy.
