I have the Dynasty cleaver and recently purchased the Bushcraft cleaver and hanta combo. That set each came with durable sheaths. Really enjoy them. Always a conversation piece when I grill with guests. The knives are great quality and value. These videos are so relaxing. Really want to try cooking outdoors sometime.

I love to cook, and I hate trying to use a dull knife. I ordered four lives from The Cooking Guild, I couldn’t have been more pleased!!! I use them ALL THE TIME!! The ONLY reason I didn’t give five star, is because since I purchased the knives, I’ve been trying to purchase sheaths for each of them. It has been nearly two months and they are still out of stock. I really need them because we camp in our RV a lot and I need to be able to safely bring my knives.

I ordered some and they are actually pretty amazing. Balanced, comfortable in the hand and easily cuts and dices just about anything I throw at it. Worth the money.

I bought my boyfriend the cleaver and sheath! We absolutely love it!!! It’s very very sharp tho so be careful! Definitely ordering more items! Great quality, products, and the best customer service!

I have the Kiri cleaver and love it! It did pitina a little faster than I expected, but that's very minor IMO. I haven't felt proficient in overall use with anything larger than a standard chef's knife, but that isn't the case with this knife. I really dig the design and weight of this Kiri!

I received my knives yesterday and immediately tried them out and yes I am an avid knife connoisseur being I’m a 45 year long professional fish cutter in the industry. All I can say is wow! I am very impressed with the beauty in the steel and the edge on these knives. They will last me the rest of my years. Great craftsmanship!

I placed an order on 25th February. I have been given a tracking number and have had a number of emails from Eddie but the tracking would suggest my knife hasn’t moved from Fontana, CA, since 1st March.

Really thinking about cancelling my order. If Men with the Pot are reading any of these posts, The Cooking Guild are letting you down. Your videos (and book) are brilliant. Pity there’s not a UK supplier of the knife.

I wait in hope.

UPDATE 16th April: the knife appears to still be in the same location in California. No movement whatsoever since 1st March!

UPDATE 3rd June: my knife has still not moved a millimetre. Two weeks ago I asked for a refund. I was asked to give them another chance and this time they would use FedEx to ensure the knife would be with me within seven days. Still no sign of a purchase!!!!!

Absolutely love my men with the pot knife.
I’d been eying them off since I saw one of the first outdoor cooking vids and that sold me that I had to get one.
Great quality, razor sharp, beautiful leather sheath, well balanced and feels great in the hand. Postage from the UK to Aus was a little slow but that’s world postage for you, I inquired about postage speed and got a helpful prompt response which was great. 10/10 would recommend.

I had difficulty getting my order delivered - US to UK perhaps the issue? - Anyway, Eddie and Curtis were amazing - they worked hard to get my order to me, even changing couriers to try to achieve this. I did eventually get my order and these knives are superb! Would definitely recommend them - the company and the knives. Thanks, both of you - great service and great products!

Hidden costs. I ordered a set of 3 knives, I haven't cut them yet, but I had to pay customs duty. As I read there are many complaints. A self-respecting company should warn customers that there are additional customs costs in Europe. To be honest, after adding the hidden costs, I could have bought a much better knife in Europe

Unfortunately - beyond how good their knives may be, for any UK buyer, they should expect to get an additional customs charge of approximately £90.

No warning from Cooking Guild in the buying process that this should be anticipated (Only reference to potential customs charges at all - which Cooking Guild support told me I should have read - was on their Refunds page which mentioned it only in the context of if you're returning goods to them).

In my back and forth correspondence with support, I was told that "...we believe you are aware that importing goods outside the UK is subject to customs fees/duty." (I wasn't) and that "Most of our UK customers that received their orders have no complaints about receiving their order and the charges imposed." (Having looked at the other reviews from other UK buyers, they do definitely have complaints.)

I barely ever write reviews but this experience triggered me enough to want to bring attention to it. Good luck all.

Bought a Damaskus knife and a sheath. Had some trouble with the delivery due to costums, but that's not the Cooking Guiles fault. I had close contact with costumer service all the way. They did a very good job. I highly recomend the Cooking Guild! :D

I have received my knives, and they are everything you said – perfectly sharp, perfectly balanced and just plain perfect!!!

My mum and my grandma were both chefs. So I’m no slouch in the kitchen and I love a hood knife. I have a block of Henkel, Wusthof and Sabatier knives that I sharpen by hand. I loved the look of the Cooking Guild bushcraft bundle and filet knife and I knew I needed to bone a Turkey. From the moment I opened them I knew they were special. Razor sharp, perfectly honed and balanced. These knives have become my go to for everything. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I cannot wait to grow my collection.

Excellent product, customer service, and super-fast option delivery, all the way here to my Aotearoa kitchen - nothing like what MWTP do, but it will do the trick, especially with the amazing cleaver, and my new Kiritsuke Titanium San Mai Steel Knife set. I love my knives! Started with the Dynasty Series Samurai Knife Set and within a week of buying it I bought the Nomad Series Clever! Best knife purchase in a longtime! Can’t wait to grow my collection!

I’ve had my Cooking Guild Hanta knife for about 2 years. It is beautifully crafted and has held up well. The weight and feel of the knife is perfect. Holds an edge very well. It is my go to kitchen knife for most tasks.

I bought the Master Snazan back during Covid lockdown 2020. It is the best knife I’ve ever owned. Three years later it’s still the number one knife in my kitchen. Super sharp and easy to keep sharp.

I have the Dynasty Series Warrior Knife Set. Once you use one of these knives, you will understand why people go out of there way to have quality material knives. They are perfection. Weighted evenly and little to no pressure needed for a clean cut. It’s like cutting through warm butter every time. Easy to clean and effortless to use! If I could give more stars I would. Highly recommend! I cannot wait to buy sheaths for these knives. They are so beautiful, everyone who sees them wants to hold them. Sadly, they are sold out as of right now. I’m guessing it’s due to the quality of everything The Cooking Guild offers.

These knives really exceeded my expectations. I ordered the dynasty series cleaver and chefs knife for my son and he loves them!! I ordered the 5” petty knife for myself and was really really happy with the quality and performance of the knife. I can’t wait to order a couple more!
