My second order didn't go according to plan but it all worked out in the end. Took more than one month for them to even give the knives to the shipping company, then the package center they were delivered to was never communicated to me or the buyer via the tracking information provided. I had to track down the package through multiple websites and ultimately the package was returned.
The good news is that they received it back and refunded the money without hassle.

Their emails are relentless and you can’t unsubscribe. Fortunately they are moved to spam but I’m sent at least an email daily and the unsubscribe button does nothing.

No Product, No Response - FRAUDS!
Bought a set of knives that were NOT marked as a "pre-order" or "out of stock," but they kept delaying the order. Finally after months, I decided to ask them to cancel, and they have been non-existent. Currently working with my bank to dispute the charges. Tried social media and direct emails, still no response. I would avoid this site, 100% moving forward.

SCAM - Do not buy from here!
At this point they have just stolen my money. No delivery after 6 weeks, no trackiing number, automated support emails that just say "thanks we will look into it" etc and nothing happens. SCAM - Do not buy from here.
UPDATE - they claim to be adifferent company, but they have multiple brands. The customer service email system is the same.

Dull knives. Duller customer service
All 5 knives I bought were so dull I struggled to cut a lemon. None of the knives could cut the string from the turkey. These knives were truly useless from the day I received them. When I emailed to let customer service know, they repeatedly told me the dullness wasn’t a manufacturing defect and refused to refund me. They gave no explanation, just absolutely refused to take accountability or do anything to help remedy the problem. They wouldn’t even send me their sharpener. Then they signed every email with “happy cooking” which I couldn’t even do because I had no knives to cook with. Will NEVER buy from them again.
Terrible customer service and bad quality
Terrible customer service. They sent a bad quality knife. We wanted to return it. They made us jump thought hoops wanted us to pay for shipping to return a bad product. Then told us that we couldn't return the sheath because we opened the shipping envelope it came in!
Poor quality worse customer service. Do not spend your money on it.
Cheap knives marketed as high quality.
The same knives offered by this company are available through alibaba at a fraction of the cost. They advertise hand crafted, high quality knives while providing extremely low-quality mass made knives.
Furthermore, their customer service is abysmal - they do not offer any support on returning a knife. Their lifetime warranty covers a si gle repair, but only for defects already present on the knife at time of receipt, making the policy largely useless.
Avoid this company completely.

Knives never arrived
After looking through the reviews. It seems a common occurrence that knives purchased during Black Friday sale never arrive.
I actually forgot about my order of almost 11 months until I started to receive several emails a day from this vendor. Customer service is kind but they never follow through or follow up, and it's never the same rep that I have been connected with. Don't waste your money on products that will never arrive.
Ever wonder how a company maintains a…
Ever wonder how a company maintains a 4.9+ star rating on its own website? I’ve left multiple reviews about my experience with The Cooking Guild, but they keep getting removed—clearly, they don’t want negative feedback visible.
The Cooking Guild advertises their knives as “rust resistant” and claims you can “try our knives risk-free” with a “30-day, no-questions-asked return policy.”
However, after just a week of light use, my knife blades developed significant rust, and the wooden handles became swollen and rough to the touch. Since I was well within the 30-day return window, I reached out to return them. Instead of honoring their policy, the customer service agent bombarded me with questions about how I cared for the knives and the conditions that caused the damage. I was then told that their guarantee didn’t cover moisture damage and that the return policy only applied to new, unused items.
This makes no sense. The knives are advertised as rust-resistant, but apparently, they can’t handle moisture. How is a kitchen knife supposed to avoid contact with moisture? Plus, their “no questions asked” return policy clearly didn’t apply here, since I was asked multiple questions and ultimately denied a return based on my answers.
The Cooking Guild doesn’t stand behind the promises they make about product quality or customer service. Their so-called “risk-free” return policy is misleading. I’m now stuck with $500 worth of rusty, overpriced knives that are more suited for display than actual use.
Try our knives risk-free with our 30-day, no-questions-asked returns policy.
The Cooking Guild advertises their knives on their website as "rust resistant" and on each of their product pages they say "try our knives risk-free with our 30-day, no-questions-asked returns policy."
After only a week of use, the knife blades had significant amounts of rust on them, and the wooden handles had swollen and changed texture. Since we were within the 30-day return policy, I reached out via email and asked to return the knives. The customer service agent asked several questions about how the knives were cared for and what the circumstances were of the damage. She then proceeded to tell me that the guarantee did not cover moisture damage and that the return policy only applied to new and unused items.
The return policy said "try our knives". There is no way to try a kitchen knife without using it. The argument that the "try our knives risk free" return policy only applies to unused items does not make sense.
The return policy said "no questions asked". When I initiated the return request, I was bombarded with questions. I truthfully responded and was eventually denied the return based on the answers to the questions they said they wouldn't ask.
The website claims that the blades are rust resistant, however, when I contacted them to complain that my knives rusted after only 1 week of light use, I was told that the knives were not supposed to be exposed to moisture. So apparently, the knives are rust resistant as long as they are not exposed to moisture. How does that make sense???
The Cooking Guild makes multiple quality and customer service claims on their site, but they do not stand behind their products, and they do not honor their "no questions asked, risk free" return policy. We are now stuck with $500 worth of rusty, high-end, kitchen display pieces that are completely useless.

BUYER BEWARE! NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT AND COMPANY UNRESPONSIVE
Bought a knife and sheath on December 27, 2023. Today is January 16th and it still has yet to arrive. I emailed them to ask the status and they quoted the exact language that I received from tracking my own package. UPS was going to open an investigation but said they were restricted from doing so because of the company's account restrictions. When I emailed the company back, they never responded. My last email to them was 6 days ago and they have yet to respond. I spent over $100 and never received my product or a refund. Worst experience ever.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE - APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Ordered a Damascus Cleaver, Sheath & Honing Steel 26 November 2023, at a cost of £195.20 for delivery to UK. There is no mention of tax implications at point of sale. Items were to be delivered by UPS and have still not arrived. Having been fobbed off, I have now been advised by Alvin that:
‘After careful investigation, we regret to inform you that we cannot refund or replace the order now as it did not have additional shipping insurance. This limitation poses challenges in addressing situations where the order may have been lost due to external factors, such as theft.
We understand how disappointing this news may be and deeply empathize with any frustration it may cause.
Happy cooking!’
There is no option on site to take out insurance or warning in T’s & C’s that the customer is responsible for items lost in transit and no refund or replacement will be given. How do I know the order was ever dispatched?
Completely unacceptable behaviour, dreadful customer service - avoid them at all costs unless you want to be treated with utter contempt.
Buyer Beware
Do not trust the service or customer support, these knives are also coming in from China. Ordered multliple sets for Christmas Gifts and they did not ship complete orders per their sale packages. One order did not even have the knife set in the box and the other order did not have all the accessories listed. When I attempted to contact them they would only respond with email 1 time per day. They provided no proof other than saying the packages weighed correctly for the order, but they have no proof to share. They also use UPS to deliver the post office not even directly to the customer. Would not send a new knife set because they had received a new shipment from China and would not offer anything but a less expensive set for the same price after Christmas. Some thing is not right with their customer support and warranty claims. Buyer Beware.
I had ordered the dynasty series 8"…
I had ordered the dynasty series 8" cooking knife for Christmas, but it got lost in the mail. Even though it wasn't their fault they made it right and sent me one that I did receive before Christmas. I am so grateful and happy with my knife I can't thank them enough for what they did. I am in love with this knife, the quality and sharpness of this knife is top tier, and perfectly balanced. Thank you so much cooking guild.
DO NOT TRUST THEM!
I've been trying everything to get the knives I ordered OR get my money back. Even though I paid for shipping insurance, USPS says the package was not insured. Multiple emails to the company got me nowhere. My negative comments on their Facebook ads get deleted!
Brilliant customer service
Brilliant customer service. Fast communication, fast shipping, beautiful knives.
Corrosion after 4 days of use
I saw signs of corrosion after using the knives for FOUR DAYS. When I contacted the support asking for a refund, I didn't even get a response from them (two emails unresponded). Just read on their site that any products purchased on sale are not even eligible for a refund. This company is a fraud, stay away!
