New Zealand, South Island Adventure Lives Up To Its Name!
My trip to the South Island in New Zealand was nothing more than magical. The entire process of setting up the trip through Phil Boorman and the Conqueror Adventures company was seamless, and the communication was exceptional, even going above and beyond to provide two video chats to not only go over the itinerary but as well to meet the other travelers. I thought this was exceptional. The process of payment and explanations of what was necessary was super helpful in getting me prepared for this trip. Phil took care of everything and answered any and all questions I asked in an extremely timely manner.
The trip itself was perfection. The itinerary did not do the trip justice, as we stopped at some of the most beautiful areas I have seen in my life. Phil knew the country and the roads. His explanations, insights, and facts were intriguing as well as informative. Each hike was a little different, and his knowledge of all of the areas we visited was exceptional.
Even when weather or conditions were not in our favor, Phil was prepared for all possible events. An example of this was when the weather wouldn’t permit us to fly to the Franz Josef glacier. Phil had us in the van and on our way to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. His planning and persistent positive attitude were what made this trip more than a tour, it made it something that I will always remember.
For anyone looking to join the Conqueror Adventures on any of their tours, my advice is this: DO IT! You will have a great time, you will enjoy every moment of it, and it will provide you with memories (and hopefully photos) that you can keep with you for a lifetime. Phil and the Conqueror Adventures were one of the best guides/companies I have ever toured with, and would 100% do it again.
Thank you, Phil, for everything you did to make this trip not only a success but one that lived up to its namesake… an adventure.
