We’ve been working with The Chef Tree for several years now, and I honestly wouldn’t look anywhere else for chef cover. They’ve consistently provided us with excellent DBS-checked chefs — currently we’ve got Richard and Toby in on a relief chef rota, and they’ve been fantastic.

The chef was knowledgeable and was able to work with minimal staff support. The chef prepared a delicious meal that the residents enjoyed. The chef worked tidily and kept the area clean.

I am writing to provide some positive feedback regarding Chefs Zahra and Mariusz, who have been supporting Horton Cross Nursing Home recently. Both chefs have been exceptional in their approach and have made a significant positive impact on both our staff and residents.

They have built excellent rapport with everyone, creating a very welcoming and positive atmosphere throughout their time here. Their professionalism is evident in everything they do, from maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen to ensuring the highest standards in food preparation. Their attention to detail is remarkable, and they consistently leave the kitchen in immaculate condition, truly deserving of a five-star rating.

Zahra and Mariusz have demonstrated great knowledge regarding modified diets and have been very mindful of our residents' allergies, likes and dislikes. It’s clear that they take pride in ensuring each meal is tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents. I would also like to mention that our residents have been thoroughly enjoying their meals, especially the desserts, which have been a particular highlight!

The staff at The Chef Tree are always professional and the chefs provided are very skilled and knowledgeable. The admin team listen the your requirements and find chefs that match your needs.
They always ask the right questions particularly around allergies and meeting the customers needs and are fully prepared to start the shift with the right uniform and kit. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The Chef Tree provided up with an all round excellent and professional service. From, taking our booking to the chef arriving, it was seamless and stress free.
Viorel the chef, fitted easily into the team. he was friendly, knowledgeable and adapted easily to a new kitchen environment. Food was served on time, looked good and our residents gave very positive feedback about the food. Viorel took his job seriously, noting our freezer needed to be de-iced. He then went on to do the job himself. He left the kitchen clean and tidy.
I would like to say a big thank you to The Chef Tree and would certainly recommend them.

I called them on a Saturday morning to cover the shift for the Sunday they managed to get me a chef and the chef was very good friendly and meal was lovely this was told to me by our residents, they where in communication with me at all times updating me a long the way.

Being a head chef one of the aspect of the job is consistency and from time to time we rely on agency to make sure we can achieve consistency
And this is why I use chef tree when needed as they constantly meet my requirements by sending very reliable chefs who knows what they are doing , can cook, adapt rather quickly to the environment and last but not least turns up on time
I cannot recommend them highly enough
There are other agency chef out there but they don't come anywhere close to the level of chef tree
