4 times rescheduled and nothing
I placed an order with carport co. On December 12th of 2025. Brody told me my carport would be installed on the 3rd week of January of 2026. I got a message from Susana a couple of days before my scheduled installation that they couldn’t install my carport because of the weather. I said okay I completely understand. Susana told me approximately in 2-3 weeks they would install my carport. 3 weeks came by and Susana told me they couldn’t come out because of the weather I said “okay”. I live in Iowa so I know it can get cold here. Susana then told me she wasn’t sure when they could come out but that she would send me a message. Approximately 2 weeks later she sent me a message saying that the guys will come on a Saturday. Friday came and Susana sent me another message saying that the guys weren’t going to come because their van broke down. She rescheduled my installation to Friday the 6th of March. I said okay it’s not like I can do anything about it. Thursday came and Susana then told me that the guys were not coming and that someone from the crew was going to call which they never did. I’m still waiting on the call from one of the guys from the crew. I will be leaving this review until they actually come and install the carport but as of right now I am very upset. This type of behavior is super unacceptable.

The installers did come today 3/12/26. They did install what I ordered. The only reason why I’m leaving 3 stars is because of my experience otherwise I would give Brody 5 stars because he actually did help me out.

While weather delays in Iowa during winter are sometimes unavoidable, I understand that four reschedules, especially with the van breakdown and missed communication from the crew created significant frustration and uncertainty for you. That's not the experience we want our customers to have, and I take full responsibility for the lack of communication and coordination, I'm working with our manufacturer to improve communication and reduce delays with our customers.

Carport is a great business to deal form purchase to completion
Carport is a great business to deal with. The three man work crew arrive at 11:30am and started straight. . to work. I showed them where to install the 14x35x12 carport. They truly worked as a team and at 3:15 we walked around the finished carport. The entire work site was clean.

Good choice, with caution
Brody at The Carport Co is easy to work with and provides great customer service, and I recommend using them. I have a couple of reservations about the Eagle product they sell though. Eagle seems to use steel that is the lightest gauge within the specified range, and my installation experience wasn't great. But, if you're mindful of these things and very attentive during the installation, you'll enjoy the end result.
