I have debated ordering for several months but have put it off due to thinking it is just another hype thing! Dear god was i wrong, I finally gave in and ordered..the godfather,margarita, garlic cheese.... shall I go on ? Was absolutely bloody lovely each and every one. My subscription is on and am looking forward to my next delivery 🙂😁

I don't normally buy stuff I see advertised on social media, but after looking into this a bit more I decided to take a risk. I bought this with the mindset that my partner and I could have one calzone each as a quick dinner instead of a takeaway when we don't feel like cooking. It's still cheaper than takeaway but not as cost effective as it seems for the below reasons.

I ordered a few different flavours, they come in a 2 pack of each. So far I have tried the Margherita and the Chorizo Fior Di Latte (Highly Recommend).

The food tastes great, and ingredients seem quality (the cheese tastes great and the dough tastes good quality too. Top marks for those and I wanted to give this more stars because of this. There is no doubt about the quality or taste of the food.

My original concerns before ordering were the quality and amount of toppings within, and the potential size of the individual calzone as there was no comparison online.

For the first one, I was pleasantly surprised, topping were oozing out the sides after cooking which was great and at no point felt it was too much dough vs minimal topping. Good spread throughout.

My second concern is sadly still an issue, I put this review at 3 stars Not because of quality or taste, but because the sizing and packaging makes this a problem for portioning and storage. Each single Calzone is just is a bit too small.

Of the two in a pack, one is definitely not enough but two is slightly too much and with how they're packaged, you'll have to defrost both to separate them before cooking. So be prepared to eat both in a pack. Even my partner, who has tiny portioned meals, agrees that one's not enough. She is also a vegetarian so no option to cook one meant and non-meat option each without defrosting 4 calzones to do so.

With having to cook and eat both in a pack, this sadly means it's not as cost effective as it would seem. While there is no doubt for quality, I'm not sure I would order again from here.

If they were to do an XL version (double pack at slightly higher cost (£1-£2 more than a current 2 pack or single pack slightly cheaper than a 2 pack option) with a way to easily defrost and cook individually then this would be a game changer and I would stock my freezer with these all. That would make this a 5 star review.

I hope this review was helpful, definitely 100% worth a try but be aware of the shortcomings, and while i don't believe it should be so cheap it's non-viable or sacrifices quality, it's not as cost effective as it seems at first glance.

Lovely handmade calzones that are really tasty! I buy 3-4 packs at a time as they freeze well and cook beautifully once defrosted. Excellent service and communication. Products arrive on a day to suit you, all fresh in their refrigerated packaging. This is a small company I would highly recommend you try.

Really enjoy the calzones & the crispy chicken strips. Calzones fill of filling & tasty. Had garlic chicken & garlic bread this time, but were overly garlicky, really too strong. Had the garlic bread before & wasn’t this intense, hubby couldn’t finish his. The chicken strips are great, large flavoursome strips with the right amount of coating.

Fast delivery. Option to choose your delivery date. Most importantly the Calzone were off the scale yummy.

Love these calzones have one every week. Never disappointed.

Delicious calzones. Excellent fillings and generous sizes. Unfortunately they leaked, which was a very minor disappointment. Otherwise they would have received 5 stars.

Having the calzones in the freezer is amazing for a fabulous Saturday night dinner. They are so fresh and super tasty! Would highly recommend the Duck ones

I ordered for the first time in hope that they would be able to live up to the pictures, and I've been extremely impressed. The delivery came as promised, and the quality of the food has been exceptional, I will absolutely be ordering again.

I ordered on-line from TCK for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The website was very easy to use, the new customer discount was a pleasant surprise and the range of food was excellent.

I received an email the same day regarding a query with my order, which was sorted everything out and was extremely re-assuring.

The food arrived as promised, appropriately packaged and easy to transfer to the freezer.

We haven’t tried all the different calzones as yet but the ones we have tried were exceptional. We’ll certainly be ordering again and advised all our friends and family, who are keen to similarly order from TCK.

My Calzones arrived on time and well packaged. They were my first experience of calzones and I wasn’t disappointed. They were so easy to heat and soo good to eat. They were filled to the brim and very very tasty. I will be ordering more.

I ordered on subscription and used a freebie code, so what I received for just over £40 was - 18x Buttermilk Fried Chicken Strips, 2x The Godfather - Cheeseburger Calzone, 4x Chicken & Chorizo Calzone, 2x Garlic Cheese Calzones, and a tub of TCK Garlic Mayo; so it ended up being good value!

So far we have tried the chicken and the Chicken & Chorizo Calzone and they were amazing.

Ordering is simple .
There is a wide variety to select from .
I wish the Philly Cheese was a permanent item , I order when ever advertised .
And recently they have added cinnamon buns , oh my oh my , they are scrumptious .

I kept seeing these on Facebook and they looked absolutely delicious. Decided to order and I can confirm that they are indeed delicious! Just did my second order and cannot wait, they are extremely filling.

I kept looking att these on social media,thought I would try them,and boy was I’m glad I did,absolutely loved them,just place my second order today bloody delicious

I have had the Calzones from TCK multiple times now and they are always delicious.
My go to items are The Donald 3.0 and the Garlic Cheese.
Very pleased that my free one was another pack of The Donald 3.0 as well.
