I ordered one sample book from TheBookPatch, intending to later place a larger order. There was no indication from TheBookPatch that they were doing anything to prepare or print my sample book, or ship it, and I received only automated non-responses to my emails, instead of human contact. TheBookPatch will not accept inbound phone calls, so I was in the dark. Then one day the sample book showed up. It had several issues--the pages started coming loose with gentle usage; the left-hand pages had faint vertical streaks through the photos and text; and the text was angled slightly uphill from the bound edge. Although they had already lost my business for these various reasons, I wrote them so they would know where they had fallen short and could make improvements for other customers, but again they were not responsive. I subsequently found DiggyPOD, placed my order there, and was totally happy with the books they printed for me.

This website was so user friendly and very easy to use! Also the pricing is very reasonable which is great, especially when you only want to publish a couple copies.

The Book Patch has been great all around. The quality of my book was incredible, the price certainly couldn’t be beat. When I ran into a hiccup with my ISBN registration the customer service was fast and incredibly helpful. Incredible experience overall... highly recommended.

I spent two years writing a 328 page autobiography for my two daughters. As the project continued, so did interest from my four siblings. My dilemma was finding a good quality, economic printing source.

I am very pleased with the turn-around time. Impressive! I am also very pleased with the quality of these books. Numerous color and black and white photos are included throughout the book and all printed perfectly.

I've been using The Book Patch to self-publish my elderly father's Poetry books for seven years. The books always come out beautifully done, and very high quality. My father cherishes the opportunity to share his poetry with family members and friends, and without The Book Patch, we would not be able to afford such high quality books at so economic a price. When I had a small printing issue on our most recent order, I was contacted personally by the company's Managing Partner, and he worked with me patiently and tirelessly to make the order right. Awesome customer service! The service that I received when I initially published my book was great. There were many changes that I had to make to the book and I did not understand a lot about formatting. The Reps were patient with me and made sure I got my book published. Recently, I went back into my book to make changes and thought I had lost all my book information. Jeryll at Book Patch actually assisted me this time. He promptly responded to my request and uploaded the needed information. Although I made the same mistake twice, Jeryll didn't miss a beat. He promptly assisted me and now my book has the information needed and the book orders can continue without my worrying about any interruptions. Thank you Book Patch - Jeryll. Bookpatch is a great vehicle for our small press, and has made a difference in our ability to bring good work to an audience. Unlike with others, we can look at a small sample of a printed book to make final changes before ordering a lot fo copies. Yes — others give tear sheets, but the actual look and feel is missing. Also, the turnaround is good, and the overhead fees are relatively small.

We had a small order. I had two highly capable students who I challenged to write a book this year. It was the perfect project during distance learning, and they were thrilled with their books. I have ordered several books from The Book Patch and have loved them all. I use this website to publish stories about my family and use them as gifts for family members. It has been a great tool to save our personal history and everyone loves the high quality. I even had a problem one time with a book having some printed spots on one of the images and they printed it free of charge and sent it to me.

I have ordered previous books from The Book Patch with no delays, they are now making their website more readily accessible for customers and I was having problems placing orders. The customer service rep walked me through step by step and was patient with me until I placed my order. I so appreciated Ms Kristylle assistance. The author Millicent Rubin wrote a very powerful spiritual devotion in 2019 and when I testify about it cause three years later it still shapes my life, so I usually just order it for who I shared testimonies with.
