Looks like most reviews here were written a couple years ago, so wanted to add a newer one :) This site is super high quality. The teaching is superb and there is quite a lot of content - definitely enough to keep you busy for a very long time, with a nice variety of solo and partner lessons. I've been having fun doing the solo courses in my living room - it's lovely to be able to learn blues in your own home. Obviously going to lessons & getting personal feedback is important, but I think if you either don't live near lessons or want to supplement regular classes with more material - it's fantastic.

Precise, clear instructions for both leaders and follows. Everything is taken step by step so at no point was I lost when using the materials. Things are properly structured too, with courses for dedicated subjects that facilitate efficient learning. Also, it doesn't hurt that Adamo and Vicci are really adorable (the accents <3) and have great chemistry together so it's a real treat to watch them present the material.
The best online dance classes. Tutorials for all levels, very detailed and well explained. We have renewed the subscription for another year because it is worth it.
Highly recommended.
Best online source for your blues dance training. From absolute beginning to quite advanced stuff, for both solo and partnered dance. One year is definitely not enough to learn all. Really enjoying it :)
Very professional recorded videos and well structured courses with good side notes as prerequisites one should be aware of, further reading about history and context and music playlists to practice to. But most important, they are awesome teachers, where one can make good progress while having fun at practice.
Awesome classes, great events, funny teachers... In one easy online form. It was great during the quarantine, and it's still great to keep up practicing at home, in far away Tromsø, where there no scene
If you haven’t subscribe, then I really recommend it. Why? Because there are plenty of classes, like over 100s of material explained with fun and detail and to hook you as a student (and also could help as teacher ad well).
Vicci and Adamo have a wealth of experience and knowledge that they share in a really fun and accessible way. I definitely recommend the Blues Room.

I can't begin to explain how much of a gem The Blues Room is. The Blues scene is definitely not as big where I live as the Lindy Hop scene, and so having the opportunity to have more lessons and dance tips has been amazing. I was (happily) surprised by the extra online live lessons that Vicci and Adamo run, from which I have learnt so much about the history of the dance and the different styles of Blues dancing out there. The online recorded sessions are easily to follow along to, and I love the way I replay a video into I've got the move. There is such a gamut of Blues styles on there too; I love the Latin Blues classes in particular as it's a style that's not regularly taught in drop-in in-person lessons. A lifesaver in lockdown, and now a thorough necessity for any keen dancer.

I've been a member of The Blues Room for two years and it's kept me moving and smiling through tough times. I especially love the workshops because they make it possible to connect with many dancers around the world, catch up with friends and learn from some brilliant teachers. The classes on the site are great as well, there's a lot to learn for couples and solo dancers alike. It's embedded in a cultural knowledge that gives me a better appreciation of the music and the dance.
Discovering that you could dance the Blues came as a surprise and quickly became addictive. Discovering The Blues Room and the work of Adamo and Vicci was fantastic because I can learn while at home, in an organized and easy to use way.

It is very easy to use The Blues Room website. The classes are very complete and easy to follow. There is also a wide variety of steps for all levels, single and partnered, and it is a joy to dance along with Vicci and Adamo who take their time to explain in a very good mood, a joy which simply goes through the screen. You can ask for feedback, doubts, whatever you need to know about the blues. Not to speak about the Workshops with international teachers and researcers of blues dance and history, another extra point why I love the Blues Room. I will soon start my third membership renewal.
I am now for 2 years member of that website and the improvment of my dance was great. Even through the pandemic time it was a great help to practice with the videos and the helpfull hints.
I had a talk with some dancers a day ago and they told me that my improvement were great since the last time we werre dancing.
That means: the only site you need is The Blues Room
The Blues Room saved my life during the lock downs :-)
I have no partner to dance at home and all the solo blues classes and the special session plus the choreos are so fun to do!
Vicci and Adamo are so inspirational, they pass on their fun to us!

The Blues Room provides a great platform to learn dancing the Blues.
We have used it a lot since, and because of, the pandemic.
As a user you will soon recognise the elaborate content and sophisticated teaching concept, especially concerning the techniques, posture, attitude and more.
In the online courses the teachers have a lot of patience and an eye for detail.
I must admit even the Blues Room cannot fully replace classes in person, but I'd say it's the best you can find under the current circumstances, to learn dancing the Blues online or via Zoom.
Vicci and Adamo are full of inspiration and passes it on to their students

Award-winning international Blues dancers bring their friendly teaching style to your living room. Nice. I have had the pleasure to learn from Adamo & Vicci in person, and hope to do so again in a post-pandemic future. Meanwhile, I've been enjoying their online classes which are well-structured and elegantly presented. A good investment, especially if you have a partner to practise with. For me thats kinda essential, but I'm sure there's plenty in here for soloists too.

Fantastic teaching
The Blues Room is full of excellent material to get you dancing, whether than be on your own or with a partner.
Vicci and Adamo's teaching style is very clear. They break moves down well and create a supportive learning environment.
I love the explanations of different styles of blues music and dancing and the cultural context which is embedded throughout the teaching.

Vicci & Adamo are excellent teachers that know to perfection how to communicate their lessons.
Their material is structured by level (with a special course for beginners), by topic and superbly organized so the student doesn't need to worry about anything else but following them.
Not only that, but they have some tips and general advice videos that are INCREDIBLE to get better in your posture, in the way you step on the ground, in foot care...
To finish it up, they do regular workshops on Saturday to talk or teach about different topics, always interesting. And they are super approachable, so it's easy to ask them for answers to your questions

Adamo and Vicci are simply amazing! What they've done with The Blues Room goes way beyond just an online dance school. They've done a lot to keep the blues community alive during the pandemic when we were desperately in need of dancing blues.
They are amazing teachers and also incredibly lovely people!
The membership is worth every penny! On top of the hours and hours of very well organized and great quality videos, the reading material recommendations, the playlists, and the online workshops with other international teachers, there are different membership options. I have the Premium subscription and it comes with everything plus 6 (yes, you read correctly, 6!) one to one lessons, which are incredibly helpful to improve the finer details of your dancing.
Aaaand on top of all that there is Bluesology!!! If you're seriously considering becoming a blues teacher or improving your teaching skills, this is THE EVENT!
Can't wait!!!
