Still not received my order

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I've checked our emails and cannot find any correspondence from you to say you've an issue so unfortunately we weren't aware until reading your 2x 1 star reviews.

I have tracked the parcel and it looks like the courier has been trying to get hold of you as you've had 3 failed deliveries (7th, 8th, 9th May), as well as sending you full tracking updates.

Couriers will only attempt delivery 3 times before the parcel is returned to us (which they charge us for). Unfortunately you haven't replied to my email either so this parcel is now on its way back to us. Once it's returned, we will issue you a refund minus all delivery charges as per our t&cs.

Best avoid their dodgy beer

No wonder they have 40% negative reviews! Spent over £70 on 20 bottles of Kwak which is like pea soup and tastes bad. Best avoid this company

Hi Robert, I cannot understand why you've left us a 1 star review if I'm to be honest. We are a retailer, not the brewer so have no control over how a beer tastes. We sell all beers by the bottle so if you’ve not tried Kwak before, you could have purchased 1 bottle and not 20.

We're also a small independent business so reviews such as yours really have a negative impact on our reputation, especially when they are unjust.

They mislead you

As I saw "free delivery in the UK for orders over £75" I started to place an order for beer. When I passed the threshold the website acknowledged " congratulations you have qualified for free UK delivery ". However when I got to the checkout they had added a delivery charge of over £12 to my order rendering it too expensive to continue. Very disappointing and misleading

Ideal place to find your craved for beer

This very first purchase of a brand of beer named Löwenbrau, which is really hard to find these days with all the cheap quality of almost all beers sold in the UK, has met my expectations. Had all bottles delivered on time before the New Year’s Eve in a lovely strong protective packaging, so I can strongly recommend this seller to everyone. Thank you for the outstanding service. With a generous selection of beers to choose from, thebelgianbeercompany is a no brainer when it comes to getting a proper beer 🍻

Still no beers

I ordered beers for my birthday. I get there is strikes on but I paid 7quid postage only to have a message that I should receive them some time next week. They have tried to help, hopefully I will get them soon

Hi, we can see you placed the order on the 17th this week. It was dispatched on the 20th. We have tracked the parcel and you had a failed delivery attempt today via DpD. A calling card and email notification was sent to you via the courier. Please arrange re-delivery.

Let down by courier but then acted badly

I was a returning customer however on this occasion the courier failed to deliver the parcel. The same courier failed to deliver two separate parcels from 2 seperate retailers at the same time and basically told porkies to both retailers.

Thats fine - these things happen - and not the fault of the retailer however the Belgian Beer Company wanted to charge me another delviery fee to redeliver my order. That is just taking the proverbial as far as I am concerned and will not be buying from them again.

Highly recommended

My second review. I ordered a mix of Belgian and Oktoberfest beers on Monday and they arrived on Friday. That's pretty good as I live in Scotland. Can't recommend the BBC highly enough for choice, especially the German beers.

Order never arrived, the company were horrendously rude. Terrible customer service and actually quite offensive in their replies. Avoid!!!

9 days and no sign of my order

9 days and no sign of my order, no response after 24 hrs to e-mail, rang and got recorded message to say only accepting e-mails, then discovered phone is a premium rate number. Now trying to recover my cash.

Great beer at good prices

Great beer at good prices. If you want Belgian beer it's worth ordering from them. The glass we ordered was well packaged as was the beer. Will definitely be using them again.
