I attended a conference at The Belfry on the 9th and 10th of this month, staying both nights in the Brabazon rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and found the hotel, its amenities and staff to be nothing short of first class. I look forward to future stays, whether they be for business or pleasure.

28th December we stayed at the Belfry Hotel,
dining was good the spa was good, we were in a room above where all the bins were being emptied, This room should not be used, it was above where all the bins are emptyied,i think i managed 2 hrs sleep, loads of talking all night, shouting, and crashing of bins, and the din of some kind of machinery, for a 4 star hotel, disgusting,
i did comparing the next morning, and i was offered a discount if i wanted to return, as per normal i received a feed back form, stating the above, to date no reply, Shameful service, i strongly recommend the manager tries a night in that room,

We had a lovely time at the Belfry Hotel & Resort. The staff were overall good and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The spa facilities were amazing and so relaxing. The spa team were courteous and attentive, taking the time to show us the facilities and make us feel at ease. A special thank you to Katie in the Spa for an incredible massage—it was soothing, unhurried, and left me feeling rejuvenated.
The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, the service was excellent.
I would also like to extend a big thank you to the Night Manager, Sergejs, who went above and beyond when we discovered stains on our mattress and bedding. He immediately moved us to a family room and even carried our luggage—his professionalism and kindness were greatly appreciated.
While the kitchen and restaurant staff seemed slightly rushed and stressed, the overall dining experience was still enjoyable.
Thank you again for making our stay memorable.

Place is relying on hosting the Ryder cup in 2002, shame the place doesn’t appear to have been updated since then.
Impossible to park and state of carpark is worse than a dirt track
No lights in the evening
Overpriced
Ignorant staff who think they are better than everyone else

Booked for my wife's birthday.
Spar and facilities very good.
Room stayed in overnight no air-conditioning and wasn't cleaned properly on arrival ( hair by kettle ).
Spoke to reception and they said they would get house cleaning to come to Room. They didn't and there answer was we will pass on your concerns . Disappointed with reply considering price you pay for room.

Just home from a Sunday night 'deal' stayover feeling tired and underwhelmed, due to lack of sleep.
Starting with the good, we had a lovely Sunday lunch in the Ryder Grill. We were given the bill for the meal and drinks by mistake (I'd pre-paid lunch as part of the deal). Pretty shocked to see Sunday lunch with 2 halves of lager was £105. This included a 10% service charge....the bill asks if you want to add a gratuity. Who in their right mind pays £105 for lunch plus service charge and wants to add gratuity? This is greed on the part of the hotel. My drink was wrong, I ordered Camden Hells and got Camden IPA. Not a massive problem, so I didn't say anything.
We then had a spa treatment. You are not able to choose the timing of your treatment as it's allocated. We both had a back, neck and shoulder massage, which were fantastic. The relaxation room was anything but. It was rammed. We had to wait for people to leave before we could sit down. To top it all, a group of screeching ladies turned up.
We went to the pool and struggled to get a chair. Luckily, a couple left as we arrived. Only one jacuzzi was working and it was hogged by a group of ladies with a bottle of wine (good for them). They stayed there the whole of the time, so no one else could use it. There is no privacy in the changing room and towels and robes had been left dumped in a large pile on the changing room floor.
The bad: Our room was in the Torrance wing. No AC, which is odd for a 4* hotel. The room did get stuffy in the night but we couldn't open the window due to the horrendous noise coming from (we think) a plant room nearby. A very loud, low, rumbling noise, much like a generator running all night. We called maintenance at 10:30pm, he arrived at 11pm. The first thing the guy said was "we do get a lot of complaints". If the hotel is aware that the noise causes issues, why put guests there until it's resolved??
We were offered a change of room but having to pack up at 11:15pm is not ideal. It was suggested we leave our belongings in the room and sleep in another part of the building. I'm not prepared to leave personal items and move to another room. The room allocated should be fit for purpose.
We thought the noise would stop when the kitchen stopped food....but NO. It carried on. I had ear plugs, I could hear the noise through them.
The noise can be heard along the whole of the Torrance corridor. If a hotel is charging £105 for Sunday lunch and £12 for a 175cl glass of Pinot Grigio, I am absolutely sure they can afford to sort the issue with the AC/ventilation/extract or whatever the problem is.
Needless to say, neither of us had any sleep. We mentioned to reception, who apologised but it's not the point. This room should NOT have been allocated.
Breakfast was fine but I noticed it's £21.50pp for non-guests. This is more expensive than London hotels.
This is the 3rd stay at the Belfry. Each time, there has been a small niggle. This time I can't justify the price against the guest experience. The hotel is pricing itself out of the market. If you advertise as a 4* and charge these sort of prices, the experience should be perfect.
I'm not prepared to try a 4th time. I will be spending my money elsewhere.
Wow! Such a beautiful place to have Sunday lunch and very tasty too. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Not worth a spa stay. Messy, no elegance, noisy. All about money. Very shabby, needs updating. We did not get the package we paid for. Definitely not worth it. Far better spa stays within the area.

Very disappointed. I have been to quite a few Spa days and this is by far the worst one I have been to. When you think of a Spa, you think of elegance. This unfortunately was far from elegant. If you did not know better you would think that you were in your local council leisure centre. In addition to this the ladies toilets and changing rooms were out of action so we had to use the men’s toilets and changing rooms. Unfortunately the smell in the men’s toilets was awful. In addition to this, in other Spa’s I have been to you at least normally see some of their products in the changing rooms, such as hand lotion and body lotion, not at this Spa. At previous Spa resorts I have found that one of the most relaxing places is the quiet relaxation room. Unfortunately there is not one here. There is a room where you can relax but due to the fact that it is also the room where you wait for your treatment then it is by far from quiet and relaxing as there is so many people coming and going and names are constantly being called out by staff. The lunch was adequate although nothing like any other Spa days I have had and I nearly died when they charged me £16.50 for one glass of wine!!! The only real highlight of the day, apart from enjoying my friend’s company was the treatments that I had from Candy who was excellent and a credit to the facility. I am sorry but I will definitely not be coming back.
We stayed on the overnight dinner package. All of the staff we spoke to were fantastic, attentive and polite an absolute credit. Our room was in the main building, the room was nice but could have benefited from air con, also no mini bar. We used the brand new pool which has recently opened, its great for young children, felt more like a public swimming pool, but the sauna, steam room and fire and ice were good, the lockers are small and no hangers for jackets etc which is a real shame. The buffet dinner was nice and had a good selection, however when we checked in at 3pm they only had 9.30pm dining left which was quite late, not sure if you can pre-book an earlier time when booking. The bar area is great for a pre-dinner drink with entertainment too. Overall a nice stay in a comfortable room with good food and a tasty breakfast.

From the very first moment I stepped through the doors at The Belfry, Michelle at reception set the tone for what has been an unforgettable stay. Check-in can often feel routine, but Michelle turned it into something special. She greeted me with such warmth and professionalism that I instantly felt relaxed and welcome. The process was smooth, effortless, and above all personal — she took the time to make sure every detail was right, and nothing was too much trouble.
But what makes Michelle truly exceptional is that her care didn’t stop at check-in. Throughout my stay she has been consistently amazing — always smiling, always approachable, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Whether it was answering questions, offering advice, or simply checking that I was enjoying myself, Michelle has gone above and beyond in every possible way. She has a natural ability to make guests feel like VIPs, balancing efficiency with genuine kindness and attention.
In just one night she has already left a lasting impression, and it’s because of her that I’m already looking forward to returning. Michelle embodies the very best of hospitality — thoughtful, attentive, and sincerely dedicated to making each guest’s experience as good as it can be. The Belfry is a beautiful place in its own right, but staff like Michelle are what truly make it five-star.
If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you, Michelle — you have completely elevated my stay and set the gold standard for service.

What an experience!! It was like I had landed in a third world country. On arrival all looked lovely with loads of available car charging stations. I checked in and made my way to my room. Gosh the place is massive it was miles away. As soon as I as opened the door it was like walking into a green house I couldn’t breath. I opened the window it made no difference. I made the long walk back to the reception as no one answered the phone on any of the lines. I explained I couldn’t breathe and definitely couldn’t sleep there. They said all the air conditioned rooms were fully booked but they would send up a fan; I asked for two. I then went to meet family as we were attending a party in one of the rooms. I was gone for about 30 mins. After arriving back at my room they had done nothing there were no fans plus the plant I bought as a present was wilting. Again not answer on any phones. So the long road back to reception once again!! She said she would immediately send the fans so I walked back once again and sat there for another 15 mins but I couldn’t stand it so again I tried the phone but to no avail so once again I walk to the reception (by now I reckon I had made my daily steps) .. I was rather assertive this time because I was so fed up. This time the guy said he would personally bring them. Makes me wonder why they have invested in so many EV charging stations instead of air conditioning!! There wasn’t enough bar staff either so we had to wait for ages to get a drink and boy was I thirsty after the green house episode. I also noticed the person at the side of me was given a dirty stained coffee cup and had to ask for a clean one. The room was in need of some TLC and my bedside table hadn’t been cleaned properly. I can really complain about anything else it was all average with a pretty decent breakfast. I wouldn’t give the hotel more than 3.5 stars to be honest although I didn’t experience the spa and maybe if I had had air conditioning this whole episode may have had a different outcome. I won’t be rushing back. I was going to give it 2 stars but felt 3 stars was fairer.

Spa break amazing. Excellent treatments by skilled and experienced staff. Facilities of pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam plus gym are all good. The food is fantastic, with great service. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly.
A calm and peaceful environment for a relaxing break. The best night's sleep with comfortable beds. I can highly recommend this delightful oasis near Cambridge.

My family and I stayed at the Belfry Warwickshire and had a wonderful 3 nights! The buffet food was outstanding. The staff was so attentive and professional. I’m not a golfer but didn’t matter as just a relaxing stay. Plenty for my 9 year old granddaughter to do. Highly recommend!

Well what can I say, the golf course as you would expect is pretty classy, the hotel looks fabulous on the front, however I do feel they take advantage of the golfers staying, lack of genuine quality service, we staying in the Trevino suites I have stayed in much better bed and breakfasts the room was very hot all the time, the fans provided barely worked, the bathroom didn't function water in the shower didn't drain which the flooded the floor, tiled so very much a hazzard when walking barefoot. It smelt musty and damp. We stayed for 2 nights, the room didn't get serviced, no fresh towels to shower with. I genuinely feel that the golfers get taken advantage of and put in sub standard rooms with next to no service and exp3ct to get away with it because we are playing golf, this is not a cheap resort to come and play and for what we paid I expected much much better quality, that said the staff and food fabulous. My advice is if you are a golfer stay elsewhere. As expected the course is fabulous
Our recent stay at The Belfry was disappointing.
Firstly, the bar service was very slow—similar to feedback I’ve seen on TripAdvisor, where “service is generally friendly and attentive, though experiences of slow service have been reported” . We waited quite a while to place and receive drinks, which is poor for a hotel of this standard.
Secondly, housekeeping never came to clean our room at all during our stay—no beds were made, bins emptied, or towels replaced.
We also had issues earlier in the evening with the fan not working, and it took over 90 minutes (plus three follow-up calls) before a replacement arrived—far beyond what we were promised.
Overall, a four-star hotel at a premium price should offer consistently prompt service and reliable amenities. Sadly, The Belfry fell well below expectations in multiple areas
Terrible experience of the Spa during a recent stay in June with 3 of my girlfriends. (07.06.25) Rather than buy birthday gifts, we chose to book a spa break to celebrate all our birthdays.
Whilst I cannot fault the customer service and rooms, we were extremely disappointed with the spa experience. We had hoped to spend a relaxing afternoon, lounging on beds, dipping in and out the pool or jacuzzi and partaking in a little drink. Regrettably the spa appeared to be over booked, and we were unable to make use of 4 loungers together instead doubled up on 2. At one point there was no room so we headed to Roccos. On arrival a large board said ‘wait here to be seated’ but as we waited the three staff just stared at us and made no intention to meet us. We then approached them and was told we could sit anywhere - what was the point of the sign?
As for the spa, only one jacuzzi worked properly, the steam and sauna rooms were rammed and by 4pm 20+ kids descended the pool. There was no atmospheric music and the whole experience was more akin to being present in a leisure centre pool.
That evening the whole place was overruled with male only golfers being loud, and uncouth and at one point soaking us in beer from a trophy they had decided to fill and slosh around. Whilst I appreciate the golfers cannot be removed as it is indeed an infamous golfing resort we did feel the staff and security could have managed these all male groups better and made us feel less intimidated.
As for the spa, this was disappointing and I do feel efforts could be made by the Belfry to not overbook, and make a more atmospheric space for relaxation. Had it not been for the impeccable service at dinner and comfy bed this would have been a very dank weekend.
Sadly we will not be returning pre recommending.

I booked the Belfry for my daughter’s 18th birthday celebration with 3 friends including spa treatments. The staff at the hotel made my daughter feel very special and I am so thankful for the little extras that they did to make it even more special. There was a balloon on arrival, she was given a complimentary drink with her meal and over all made to feel very special. The spa staff were attentive and amazing at their jobs. My daughter had Satnam and can’t recommend her enough! We have stayed at this hotel before ourselves before deciding it was the right place for my daughter and will continue to book nights away there, even though we don’t live far from this hotel. It is safe, inviting, relaxed yet special. This is due to the staff and managements continued attention to detail which as a business owner myself I have come to expect but immensely appreciate. Well done team Belfry. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to family, friends or clients. X

A 5 star resort that runs out of wine glasses on a Wednesday evening…. Quite unbelievable really.
Nothing to even suggest they’d get one from another bar….
Embarrassing
