This children's book was a delightful find! The story was beautifully written, with rhythmic language that made it a joy to read aloud. The illustrations were whimsical and brought the story to life, captivating my child's imagination.

I think the kits are great but think my son would benefit at his current age/stage from a blend of more interesting books I could read to him which I used to receive at an earlier stage and also some blending books and activities that are more geared towards him reading.

My son so looks forward to receiving these boxes. They are put together with great thought and care. I would recommend these to anyone.

It's a fantastic my little girl loves her monthly books and they are very educational and has helped her come along wonderful with her reading I would definitely recommend the bear can read

Absolutely love this subscription service!
My daughter is 2 and book-obsessed. She gets so excited to receive her monthly package and although I feel some of the activities are a little too advanced right now, we enjoy looking at them.

The best thing about it is how flexible it is. I've just paused ours until end of summer as we have so many books at the moment, so loved that I had that option instead of cancelling. As a parent I'd love to have the option of some resources to help me to support my daughters learning to read (age appropriate) and maybe some games / jigsaws included that fit with the monthly themes.

We love our cub’s subscription. Every month is different and we like to try different things. For example, last month my son had to make a teddy bear and he love it.

Great books, 3 year old loves them

Absolutely fantastic. Our son loves his subscription delivered to us with his name on (he feel so grown up when the delivery comes for him). His already good reading is now superb and his phonics have improved so much that his school have praised what we’re doing at home. The packs are so much fun and completely on point for his learning. Such a brilliant concept, my only annoyance is that we didn’t hear about The Bear Can Read sooner!!!

The books are perfect for my son. He really engages with the activities. It has made reading fun again for him. It is also very cost effective.

Myself and my daughter absolutely loved every order we got from the bear can read. We have been subscribed for many months and enjoyed everything about it. Being a Nursery Practitioner myself, the quality of the work sheets and how they link in with the books etc, it’s really good stuff!

Received our first box this week and I was so impressed the quality and variety of books were amazing! My daughter was really excited to start reading them and the dual/ partner texts are even more motivating. The activities/ worksheets were perfect and exactly at the level I hoped they would be. My daughter looks forward to her packs. Always great books she finds fun and interesting. But what makes it even better is that she loves the worksheets meaning she happily does them. She also loves the little treats in the packs. Excellent value for money.

Phonics breaks down written language into single sounds; 44 to be precise. Once children learn with these sounds, they combine and blend them to make words. This method makes our, at times confusing, English language that much easier to digest. Moreover, the phonics method helps children learn their sounds in a certain order (a bit like learning to count). When families copy this order at home, children really thrive.

I used the first subscription box and it was a cracker of a deal! Avyaan benefitted enormously with the basics! My stories have been full of Avyaan’a little episodes with Phonics from @thebearcan

For me personally, @the_bear_can delivers at the right level and age group. The phonics material is engaging and the latest publishing. Avyaan is loving it and is sure you will too! It’s the best buy!
