The books are focused for my grandsons age. They are beautiful, high quality books.

Signed my son up for their box and his attitude to reading completely changed. At home he never wanted to sit down and read, thanks to The Bear Can Read, he is so happy and relaxed, when reading and writing. He always loved it at school, but his teacher said he went up reading levels and became so much more confident with his spellings and writing. I am super grateful for this company for providing these amazing boxes and helping supply parents with the materials needed to support our children. My youngest child just started reception so I just signed him up too (only to discover there are boxes for younger ages than 4... oops that one is on me). All the books and worksheets provided so far have perfectly aligned with work done in school and its so lovely to be able to see how well they are progressing. I definitely recommend people subscribing. It really is a game changer for any child, especially for children, like mine, that need extra support and have additional needs.

Best subscription for my 2 year old and myself too. Not only do I get a guide on how to teach and achieve goals but also enjoy playing games included in the activities. Yes heard it right .....games that help with teaching concepts and major life skills like taking turns / sharing and soo much more.
And of course the perfect reading tool to get you a grip and love for reading.
The treats , gifts , puppet toys are just a cherry on the cake.

I have been with them for a while now and cannot fault them.

We’ve had a subscription for over a year now and we (yes my little boy and I) love it! From the little touches such as having his name on the front of the pack which he can now recognise (and gets excited about!) to the lovely books and helpful activities. I love that I can sit down with him and complete the worksheets without having to think about whether it’s age or development appropriate which is perfect for busy mums like me. We’ve loved every one of the books and it’s often resulted in us buying more books from a particular collection. We really do love The Bear can Read and I hope the love of books that my little boy has developed with the help of this subscription will last a lifetime.

The quality of each parcel is incredible. The children love the books and are really excited each month. Great customer service too!

We absolutely love this subscription every month. My daughter (aged 6) gets very excited when she spots her personalised box has arrived and her favourite part are the books, which are always at the perfect stage for her. The blending books have been so handy and I particular love the partner books meaning we can read together. It’s a great subscription and has really developed my daughter’s confidence with reading to the point that she is now asking to do extra reading. For those who have children lacking confidence or struggling at school with reading, you need these boxes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the second one we have received and the 1st one I thought was brilliant. My daughter absolutly loved it. The second one we have received has blown my mind and how lovely of a monthly set. My daughter is learning loads through it and I can't wait to get the next one and watch my daughter bloom. Please don't hesitate to take the subscribition. I also had a problem on my first order due to the postman at my end and the lady I spoke with fixed the issue and was so friendly, warm and the best customer service I have ever received.

I subscribed to this like every other parent who wants to develop their children’s reading habits and ability, I was shocked to receive my very first order today and the first book is about gay dads and their daughter, I have no idea why we need to indoctrinate our children at an early age, we simply need to help educate them but this company and their books are not fit for children in my opinion, I had high hopes after reading the reviews but these books need removed.

UPDATE, thanks for the reply I was instantly emailed and sent out a new book for my son which is great, I genuinely appreciate the prompt response and action.

Hopefully going forward we are not sent any more books that we would not be comfortable reading to our children or we should have the option to select from a range of books, but even as the parent I would prefer the surprise of not knowing will arrive.

I ordered as I love the idea but honestly wasn’t expecting great things. I was so wrong. We’ve just had the first delivery and the two books we have received are so lovely, both are high quality texts with a lovely message and lots to discuss. My child isn’t 2 yet, a bit young for some of the activities, so I’ll either save or adapt them but there are some lovely ideas working on lots of different skills. She loves the little puppet and the paper balloon and I know she’ll love the books. The nursery rhyme we receive is actually her favourite at the moment too so will use it to teach the grandparents it! I’m really gutted to have to wait another month for the next delivery but can’t wait!

We have just received our first subscription box. The contents align exactly with what my daughter is doing at school. She was so engaged with the worksheets. Something I thought we might get a few minutes of concentration out if she actually complicated a months worth in 1 sitting.

I love that the worksheets also have a doodle side and a space to be creative so they are not just tossed in the recycling box once completed.

I found the website easy to navigate and the space to change, pause or cancel subscriptions is easy to find and do.

We are so pleased and feel this is exactly what we have been looking for to compliment and consolidate our daughters learning.

We are looking forward to the next box already.

I liked the quality and structure of books supplied. it has improved my sons phonetic reading far too way above his mates. I would have love it more if the story line talks more on life skills and lessons such as caring, creativity, empathy not just fairy tales.

Really great idea. So far we have loved what has come in our packs. Its great how it is age appropriate and each month is themed. The little cards to help you think about how to incorporate that months topic into every days activities and language is brilliant.
