While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Don’t bother, no ability to make contact with the theatre or the company that sells tickets. Very disability unfriendly and a complete joke.
I bought a matinee ticket to attend a show in February at The Theatre Royal, Brighton. I am unable due to my ongoing mobility issues to attend. It says you can resell your ticket, I followed their instructions but it bounces back every time just giving me information on how good the theatre is. Decided to forget reselling it and just let them know that I won't be able to come so they can do what they want with the ticket (they have to be resold through atg tickets which is the impenetrable site, and of which all my email bounced back). I couldn't find an email address, used google and eventually wrote to all of the 4 email addresses which came up on google. All 4 emails have bounced back to me. There are no more emails to try. This theatre company clearly doesn't want to hear from their customers. They should at least have just ONE email address which accepts emails, I have the feeling that every email to those given out online are never going to be answered anyway. Fortunately I am unlikely to ever be able to get there so am unphased about that inability, however it would have been nice to have been able to contact someone, anyone at atg tickets or even the theatre royal brighton itself, wouldn't it. I wouldn't recommend this theatre for their lack of interest in GIVING an address for which customers can actually contact them, then they might have more happier customers, otherwise it looks as if they don't want to answer any because they are all complaints!
Gallery was more than 35c, Had to leave after 15mins due to nearly passing out because of excessive heat. 17c outside. Evening performance. No air whatsoever. No ventilation. Had wall fans working when we arrived but switched off when performance started and everyone was overheated, Unbearable. Left our seats to ask for air / turn back on the fans but was refused, so had to leave and go home.
AWFUL ***********
