Recently I purchased a pair of New Balance shoes online from Athletes Foot. They arrived to our home in NSW very quickly, having been shipped from their Joondalup store in WA. Unfortunately, they were a little small for my husband. I looked into returning them for a bigger size and spoke with someone at the Joondalup store. She explained my return options. Last Saturday I took them to the Tuggeranong store and a lovely customer service person named Aliina attended to our transaction. She was amazing and very accommodating. Having worked in customer service most of my working career, I was very impressed with this young lady’s knowledge, helpfulness and customer care.
The whole process of dealing with Athletes Foot has been excellent. You deserve a BIG pat on the back.
We will definitely be back when we next need your service.
Well done !!!
Our twins and I went to the Athlete's foot branch at Macquarie. And were served by Belle. She was the best sales person ever. Not only was she engaging with the kids, but was knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic and made the experience so fun. Thank you Belle!
Never received what I purchased. I’ve waited for weeks and contacted customer service multiple times, but no one can help. Every representative says, “I’ll look into it and get back to you shortly,” but I never hear anything unless I follow up again.
In the end, they told me they can’t even find the shoes I ordered — and after one month, I still haven’t received them. They can’t replace them, can’t send a new pair, and can’t do anything to help.
If you want to buy shoes, do not buy them from this website.
The lowest you can can go is 1⭐️ , a smidge high for the rating I feel that is deserved.
Well what do you say about Athletes Foot Launceston… you need some shoes You would think it is a good place to start but you know that feeling when you walk into a shop and the staff pretend not to see you 😱 … yep that’s the vibe, sorry we are those people you think shouldn’t be in the store buying shoes 🤔🤔 pretentious ? I’m not really sure .. maybe just lazy or can’t be bothered … sadly not a welcome to our store vibe or feel …chronic judgey AF …. to be honest with the customer service level of some the staff they probably wouldn’t care about this review either but then I’m not even sure AF would care either way , I’m not how they make 💰with how they operate I hope others have a better experience there must be some good people in customer service at AF somewhere.
Purchased Hoka shoes online two years ago. Noticed around six months after purchase the inside heel was wearing through. I kept wearing them mostly during the cooler months. Now the hole in the heel is causing blisters and I contacted Athletes Foot because I felt they should not have worn through so quickly without much wearing of them. They are not my daily walking shoes and are not good quality for the price I paid. My daily walking shoes are New Balance and are four years old, they are well worn on the outside but the inside heel is still good. Compared to the Hokas, and were cheaper. I took the Hokas back to Athletes Foot and they weren’t interested and said if I took them back 18 months ago they could have helped me. It’s more that the quality is shonky as they are in good condition otherwise. Disappointed with them not wanting to help.
This mob checked their head warehouse for a pair of Runners took my money and said deliver in a few work days, this was nearly 3weeks ago.
Then after a few days they said they did don’t have it in stock and they could offer me a store voucher which wasn’t acceptable to me.
They told me this in an email when I tried to use their help line on their website it said calling would have a waiting time of at least ten minutes so I sent a reply to their email.
Hi
This simply isn’t acceptable to me, your store sold me the shoes after making sure your warehouse had them in stock which your Robina store assured me they had and would deliver directly to me, which turned out not to be the case.
Since I received this email I approached the store in tweed heads Sth who were very patient and explained why they couldn’t issue a refund direct to my account and that it had to come from your head office.
Your offer of a voucher is not what I require, what I require is a refund returned to me, it will take around 1mi nute to do that and it is what should of happened immediately you couldn’t deliver my goods.
You’re looking like a company who is tripping over yourselves (excuse the pun) to avoid refunding my money at all costs.
To be clear … you took the money , couldn’t deliver and now you’re keeping the money.
Please stop the games and refund me asap.
Thanks for your cooperation in advance.
If you need to contact me you can call me on my mobile which is already in your system.
Bought a pair of Asics Trubco 12, they got a hole in the heel on the inside, wore them 20 times, they said SORRY IT IS WEAR AND TEAR. Do not purchase from them
I have been shopping at Athlete's Foot for years and never had a problem.... that was until I had to deal with Customer Service, which seems to not exist. My Hoka's were falling apart just after two month's of wear - I mean, the soles were coming off, just from walking (I'm not a runner). I took them instore to see if anything could be done about the faulty product. The team in store didn't have much of an idea of what to do as it was outside the usual return period. They said if they raised a case for a Faulty product, they wouldn't get a response from HQ so I should do it myself. I did this, following the website process about 6-8 weeks ago and have heard nothing. I then went back on the website, tried to speak to the chatbot which must be a pretty low cost model as it could not help me in any way. I then decided to fill out a different Contact Us form on the website, that was 3 weeks ago and I have still not heard back. I work in Marketing & CX - companies without customer service shall not survive very long in this consumer centric world......
Horrible overall experience...strongly urge others to shop elsewhere. Athletes Foot accepted my online order despite having no stock of the item. Emails to discuss and resolve were officious and uncaring revolving around Athletes Foot internal company policies and processes which I as the customer don't care about, and ultimately did not address the problem they created.
Follow up phone call to Customer Service required me to advocate much stronger and for much longer than I should reasonably have had to to get an outcome which I am still not satisfied with. The customer service rep acknowledged that he didn't have the requisite authority to resolve to my satisfaction, that Athletes Foot were ultimately at fault, yet could not or would not let me speak with a senior manager with authority to resolve. Their customer service to put it bluntly is just horrible!
I received a gift card refund and a small $ value promo code meaning I still had to place another order with them and hope I didn't experience the same or worse problems again.
Overall a very poor experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned money elsewhere...I know will!
1. Added On Cloudmonster 2 size UK 9 at $195.99.
2. Added $100 gift card with balance of $95.99.
3. Checked out with visa debit and when I clicked Place Order the screen scrolled up to the top and did nothing.
4. Clicked on Place Order again and did the same thing.
5. Something did not feel right so checked bank account.
6. 2 payments have been taken out. 1. $95.99 (with gift card) and another at full price $195.99.
Now my gift card has been lost, missing a total of $291.98 from my account and most likely miss out on purchasing the On Cloudmonster 2 in my size while it is on sale.
Same thing happened last week with Paypal Pay in 4 where I was charged twice and used a different browser this time and not happy.
Definitely not a browser issue as stated in their FAQS but an Athlete's Foot Secure Checkout site issue.
DO NOT BUY ONLINE!
Thank you Athletes Foot Westfield Bondi Junction for absolutely great service! I was so impressed at how the salesman Noah measured all aspects of my feet and walking footsteps before he selected the appropriate shoes for me to try on. My purchase was again so pleasurable and successful and thats why I have been purchasing my running and walking shoes there for over 2 decades! What a great company culture! Gerald Sydney
Bought a pair of ASIC Gel Kayano runners valued at over $200 & when l got home noticed they had slight fault. Took them back the next next day and the sales person Yall in the Malvern store was the rudest sales person l have come across, abrupt and rude even though l had my receipt and it was a click and collect. He finally changed them over, but really ruined my day. On trying to contact The Athletes Foot l discovered all the customer service lines they had listed on their site were not working and the message was that all customer service people where offline! I emailed them and days later have yet to receive a reply to my customer complaint on the service l received. I will never purchase from this store again and highly suggest you go somewhere else if you want good service. God forbid if you really needed after service from their online staff. Absolutely terrible and avoid at all costs!
