I've been a basic member with AA for…

I've been a basic member with AA for the past year and they've been excellent in all aspects, as in both the breakdown staff and customer services.
The employees that I spoke directly with recently regarding renewing my car insurance were great at helping me out,they very understanding of my situation and assisting me.

Very bad customer care

Very bad customer care, I have had to call back multiple times for problems not being resolved, having been given wrong and conflicting information. You will be waiting a long time to speak to an operator and there is no guarantee that you will be assisted. Very bad service.

Easy to contact

Easy to contact, arrived within the hour. Prompt efficient service and I’m glad I retained my membership this year even with the cost of living crisis it was a necessary service to retain

I was pricing around like everyone…

I was pricing around like everyone these days! And I have to say most were nice to deal with but I found the young man in AA to be so helpful and making sure I got the best of my policy! And with a very happy customer here!!

Luckily my van broke down near home

Luckily my van broke down near home, it's a long wheel base high roof Renault Master, so it was taken for me to my mercanic on a low loader very early next day. I was happy with the service and the communication from the AA. Also my premium didn't go up this year, it actually went down, which was lovely. For peace of mind l would choose the AA

There was a mix-up in our exact…

There was a mix-up in our exact location which resulted in unnecessary delay. The communication with AA head office left a lot to be desired.
The driver was most pleasant and helpful when he finally arrived.

AA insurance fraud

AA insurance fraud

While getting a car insurance policy last year 2025, we explicitly stated that the insurance company was not to keep our card details on file. They still kept them on file and took €659 from my account without my permission. Now they say it will be 14 days before the money is returned to me.

Be careful with your card details, GDPR are my next call
