Did not appreciate being quoted $1 for the report and then being charged $10. Bait and switch. Fraud.Deb Houck

Hi there, thank you for leaving a review. Property tax balance information, meaning what's currently owed rather than the assessed value or historical tax records, isn't something that appears in our reports, as that data isn't held in any public record we can pull from. It sits with the local authority or tax office directly, so the most reliable way to get that figure is to contact the relevant council or county assessor's office for the property. If anything else in the report looked off or you have other questions, please reach out to us at support@thathome.com and we'll do our best to help.

Did not show history or permits as advertised
Did not show history as advertised. Was looking for revisions, building permits etc. None of which were reported though I know they exist.

Hi Rc, thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry the report didn't include the permit and revision history you were expecting, especially when you know those records exist for the property. Building permit and revision data can sometimes be absent from a report even when permits genuinely exist, because not all local jurisdictions make these records available in a digitised, centralised format that third-party services can access, so coverage does vary by area. That said, I'd like to look into this more closely for your specific address. If you can reach out to us at support@thathome.com with your order number, I'll personally look into what happened and what options are available to you. - Alex, Customer Experience Manager, ThatHome
No tax info
I was simply looking to see if taxes due Oct 15, 2026 had been paid. The report does not give me tax info.

Hi Acj, thank you for sharing this. Property tax payment status is one of those data points that can be genuinely difficult to surface, as it's held at the county level and isn't always included in the public record feeds that property reports draw from. I'm sorry the report didn't have what you needed for that specific piece. If you'd like to share more about the property address and what you were hoping to confirm, I'd love to see if there's anything I can do to help. Please reach out at support@thathome.com and I'll look into it personally.

Hi Marguerite, thank you for sharing this. I can hear how frustrating it is to find information that doesn't seem to match what you expected, especially with something as important as title and ownership details. Property records data comes directly from public record sources, so when those sources contain errors or haven't been updated to reflect a recent legal or title change, that can show up in a report in a way that feels wrong or incomplete. - Alex, Customer Experience Manager, ThatHome
