T'EYES CC32k Android head unit

Unit was good, frame surround for Kia Cerato was terrible, large gaps all around frame when fitted. T'eyes Australia tried to help by providing a second frame but lost interest when the second frame was worse than the first. There are other frames available from different manufacturers but they decided that was the end of their commitment.

Avoid TEYES at all cost, terrible customer support

Avoid TEYES. I paid roughly €500 in total (€350 for the CC3 unit plus €160 customs), waited about 2.5 months for delivery, and the screen never turned on from day one. The unit showed only partial signs of life (radio/Bluetooth/steering buttons), then—after following TEYES’ own instructions step-by-step, including multiple hard resets, a CANBUS swap, and a USB “force-flash” with their firmware—it became completely unresponsive: no display, no audio, no UI. For three months I’ve been bounced between their WhatsApp “engineer,” the Russian team, and the Chinese team, each sending me back to the other. I provided everything they requested: order details, serial/UUID, clear videos and photos, wiring checks, fuse checks, recordings of every test. Still no solution, no working replacement, and no full refund. All I’m asking for is a functioning unit—a simple replacement—but after three months there is still nothing. It’s outrageous. TEYES sold me a faulty unit, wasted my time and money, and keeps stalling. Buy from a brand that honors its warranty and actually supports customers.

Teyes Support. What support?

Having read many reviews of the Teyes Android system, and already owning a Teyes for a VW, August 2023 I purchased the specific dedicated unit for my 2012 IS200d. My car needed the fibre optic version because of the aircon. The unit arrived and all good. UNTIL RECENTLY! I noticed that the area around the Passenger warning light had become disfigured from over-heating, and then I noticed that the whole facia unit had come away from the rear. I have emailed repeatedly to Teyes Support but NIL response. So my message is, BEWARE!

If I could I would give them a ZERO…

If I could I would give them a ZERO rating. I ordered a Teyes CC2 Plus with the kit for my 2012 Volvo C70. The product arrived after waiting 3 plus weeks for it. The product appeared to be of good quality and all adapters and wiring appeared to be included. Overall nice looking product.
NOT one piece of literature or instructions included. I spent hours and hours and a good deal of money finding the information to assist in installation. I contacted TEYES via email, text message, phone and WhatsApp ( their request) and NEVER recieved any response. Not one! The unit would start up, but the car would not recognize it through the CAN BUS system, non of the controls operated at all. Their on-line literature had absolutely nothing relevant to the Volvo C-70 for installation , trouble shooting, CAN BUS configuration or ANYTHING ELSE…..yet they advertised the unit for this model.

Unit never turned on.

Unit never turned on. Months of back and forth emails. Even a new unit was sent, didn't work. The CanBus protocol box is defective and i was told its "too expensive" to replace from their "supplier". I was told to order a new canbus myself and deal with the canbus vendor I HAD TO RESEARCH and find. They have stopped responding to emails(DAN), so now I have a $660 paper weight. I do not recommend. And for anyone needing proof, i have dozens of emails to send as proof of this horrible experience.

Only positive experience

I've ordered and received Teyes CC3 for my car a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, the delivery company wasn't careful enough and broke one of the parts in the package (the frame of the device), and the Teyes support was kind enough to send another frame immediately with much better and safer packing to ensure that id1ots in delivery company will not break it again. Along with the delivery, the support team of Teyes was in touch with me via emails helping me to install and set up the head unit properly.

I've tested the Teyes CC3 already in my long roadtrip in July'22 (~5000 km), mostly using the multimedia functions (music from mp3 and spotify) and navigation (including cached offline maps in Google Maps) and so far everything works good. I have some remarks to the default music player (like absence of some functions), which I'm currently communicating with the support team, and hoping to see these issues to be solved soon.
