Tempo Watches is a marketplace for pre-owned luxury watches, founded at Stanford and based in California. Watches on Tempo are listed, owned, and shipped by verified dealers. Dealers join by invitation only and are cleared through a vetting process that verifies their legal business entity, trading history on established marketplaces, physical premises, and identity. Tempo was built AI native from the ground up. We use AI where it removes friction and reduces costs rather than as a feature to advertise. Buyers can utilize our AI watch assistant to support any inquiries about a listing or the industry, while our sellers benefit from AI-assisted inventory management. Buyers complete a one-time identity verification before their first purchase. Payment is made through Tempo Secure: the buyer's payment is held from checkout until the watch arrives and the inspection window closes, so there is time to examine the watch before funds reach the seller. If something is wrong, a dispute can be opened during that window at no cost. Our terms, return policy, buyer protection policy, and authentication policy are published in full on our site, and we collect and remit sales tax where required.
